Addicted2Romance Review:

** I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.**

I love Kaylee Ryan books. Yes I have read every single one at least once and every time I am amazed how wonderful they are. She really has a gift on creating down to earth characters that I just fall in love with. None of them are the most exciting books but what they are - are stories with HEART. Lots of heart, family, friendship and characters you will fall in love with and Southern Desire is absolutely beautiful.

I read the first book in the series awhile ago and I remember really liking Aaron's character. He is the brother of McKinley who ends up falling love and marrying Aaron's best friend, Evan, In this story Evan and Kinley now have two kids and she needs help with her photo studio and so she hires Whitney to work with her and that is how Aaron and Whitney get to know each other.

Aaron is a sweetheart and he grew up watching the deep love his parents had for each other. He has been searching for his "ONE" his whole life and he expects that he will magically know. So when he meets Whitney they form a friendship and before he knows it he learns he has been wrong his entire life.

Whitney, gosh she really broke my heart but in the best way. The book starts out where she loses her mother. As a Junior in High School her mom gets diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It takes years but she takes care of her mother until finally cancer kills her. Her father abandoned them years before and so she only has a best friend and a couple cousins and an aunt and uncle in Tennessee. And that is how she ends up working for McKinley in Tennessee as she seeks a closer relationship with her family.

But Whitney is simply heart broken. This is a girl that is still feeling the pain of her loss and as many people know Breast Cancer is never a very simple diagnosis. It really affects the entire family and  this book is also about how Whitney deals with the pain of her loss and how it affects her and her relationships in the future.

There are definite tear jerker moments in this bookbut it also has sighs and laughter as well. Its also a beautiful story about learning to move on and grow with the things life throws at you. It is a lot of fun and I loved how Aaron takes the city girl and turns her into a Country Girl.
