Addicted 2 Romance Review

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I have never read Samantha Lind before and there is a good reason she is a pretty new author. This is the 2nd book she has written and I LOVED it. So much so I am planning on  reading her first book she wrote too (not part of this series). Just Say Yes is the first book in the Indianapolis Eagles series and I cannot wait for book 2 which is about two characters we meet in this book.

This story is very sweet, romantic and full of romance and a great couple with a 2nd chance at love storyline. It also starts in Alaska which is unusual setting for a book. The hero is hockey player for the Indianpolis Eagles, Scott Taylor who grew up in Alaska. He fell in love very young with Becca. Becca still lives in Alaska but 8 years before, she dumped Scott when he signed with the Eagles and moved away.

Now Scott is back in town because he won the Stanley Cup and he runs into Becca. Becca has always avoided Scott every time he visits but when she sees him again and meets his friends who are in town for a Stanley Cup celebration with the town, well she finally says Yes to date with Scott and to not avoiding him.

The title of the book is very appropriate as Becca says yes to many things in her new relationship with Scott. I loved watching them together. The big thing keeping this adorable couple apart is really his high profile career. This story is really about them reconnecting, falling in love a second time and learning how to just say yes to love and the complications of wanting to be together.

This is  new author and I really loved the authors writing style in telling this story. I like that all the characters stay true to themselves throughout this story. I truly loved this great story and this couple really is wonderful together. The next book is about Becca's bestie Kinsley and Scott's good friend Brian and I cannot wait to read it.
