This is a brand new author for me and also this is book 4 in the series and I have not read any of the books before it. I found it easy to follow along and I highly enjoyed it. It easily can be read as a stand alone story.

This is a series that takes place in Alaska. Its about a family of pilots and their siblings. They had a father that abandoned them but also a mother that died and the older brother Flynn, ended up raising them from teens to adulthood. This is the elder daughters, Nora's story who was 16 when her brother became her guardian. Nora is one tough cookie but she also is a sweetheart and she is very close to her brother Flynn's wife Daphne. She also works with him and is a pilot and flies all over.

In this story she has dated Gabriel for over a year and has been broken up with him for almost a year and she has not talked to him and avoided him for that long as well. When I say dated, its more of a friends with benefits thing and she also works along side him so ignoring him is no easy task.

But Gabriel is done, he wants her and in the open and he wants a relationship and wants her heart as she has his. Can Nora open her heart? Will Gabriel get a second chance? and how will her family and friends react? Well I am not spoiling any of that....

This was a really fun story with some kick ass characters and I really enjoyed it. There is no angyst or too much drama but its a very emotional story as love is never easy especially in the wilds of Alaska.
