This is the second book in the series. But it easily stands alone. It stars Sawyer Kingston and a close family friend, former classmates and former one night stand, Wren Davenport.

Wren and Sawyer grew up together as her father works for the Kingston family. She left town 10 years ago, when she left for college, but came back 6 years ago for one night, to attend the Kingston father's funeral and she shared one very hot night with Sawyer.

They have not spoken until Wren comes to town and ends up as Sawyers new neighbor, who his dog has a small crush on and ends up in Wren's backyard all the time. She is not a gynecologist and back in town to work as a doctor alongside her mother.

Wren and Sawyer have a very hot attraction to each other and are what you would call frenemies. They can't resist each other but also can't be in a room and not argue which made for a very entertaining book.

If you love second chance romances and very hot chemistry between two people who hate each other then you will adore this story. I loved seeing the whole Kingston family again and catching up with how they are doing. This was an awesome story, and I could not put it down. I loved the entire story and especially Wren and Sawyer.
