Love Reimagined by Delancey Stewart

Blurb

Sometimes finding the future you want means embracing the past…

Sam and Chance Palmer are both tall and dark, and look pretty damned good with a hammer hanging their tool belt as they run their construction business in the small mountain town of Kings Grove. But when it comes to the hottest eligible bachelors in town, Miranda George only has eyes for one of them. Chance—the one who won’t even look her way unless it’s because she’s just spilled something on him or tripped directly into his path.

And while Miranda George has always had the hots for Chance Palmer, Sam has spent years trying to ignore his feelings for her. The problem is that they’ve known each other much too long, and Sam can’t seem to repress his A-hole gene when she’s around. He’s given Miranda every reason to hate him, so why would he ever hope she might love him instead?

When a backcountry wildfire threatens everything and everyone they both love, will Miranda and Sam be able to look beyond their complicated past and see a future that might bring them together?

This smart, funny small-town romance is the second book in Delancey Stewart’s Kings Grove Series.

REVIEW OF LOVE REIMAGINED

I received a complimentary arc from the author for review purposes.

This was book 2 in the series and frankly I LOVED it. It is a friends from childhood/bully/friends to enemies romance and it was super fun, romantic and sweet.

Miranda is in school and works in her families diner. She grew up in town and her nemesis is Sam Palmer, unfortunately she also LOVES or has a HUGE crush on Chance who is Sam's older brother. This is not new but what she does not know is that Sam was always so mean to her because he LIKED her.

This is not a triangle story. Chance has no interest in Miranda and beyond admiring Chance, she never goes further than that. But I loved how Sam helped her realize that her crush was just that a crush.

This story happens in California and this story also features a wild fire. Which could be something you might not want to read if you have lost a home due to a fire in California. But it really added to the story and was very unique in a romance story.

If you want a fun, sweet and romantic story then you will love this story.

REVIEW OF LOVE REBUILT
I received a complimentary arc from the author for review purposes.

This is book 1 in the series and the first book I have read by the author. It is a very dark romance and it is told entirely from the POV of Maddie. The stars are Maddie Turner and Connor Charles.

Maddie is a divorce living in a trailer on her families land. She was jipped by her ex and they have an unfinished house on the land. Connor is introduced as a secretive,  mysterious writer who wants to buy the unfinished house. But Maddie does not want to sell.

But it starts her relationship with Connor where they become friends of a sort. I don't want to say too much more because who Connor is a bug mystery and it would spoil too much of the story. But this book is heavy on mystery and is not light reading. It is full of the loss and pain of love and the falling in of new love.

Definitely an interesting story and book 2 sounds intriguing.
