This is the book I have been waiting for and had high expectations, and it was absolutely awesome. Worth every moment I waited. It was sweet, hot, romantic and I absolutely adored it from beginning to end. It also easily stands alone but it will be much better if you read the first two books in the series,
It stars Jess who has been quietly raising her son, Sam for 9 months. She has a great group of friends helping her and no one has asked whose the daddy yet. Though her friends suspect its Leo who has been away for the last 18 months.
Leo is back in town and he has missed Jess so much that he goes looking for her and their friends at his first chance. And lets say he is the one with a big surprise waiting for him when he finds Jess. It was a wonderful scene and I would hate to ruin it for anyone.
Leo and Jess have a very hot relationship. They have never dated each other but they each get very irritated with each other all the time. And one night that exploded for them and now with him back in town and Jess and Sam are a packaged deal, he has to form a deeper relationship with Jess to make it work.
But 18 months away causes several obstacles in their path and I loved watching them deal with them in a mature manner. I loved both characters and how true to each other each one is. They have known each other as friends for several years and that gives them a good foundation to build on.
This was the best book in the series and a wonderful second chance at love with friends who go from friends to lovers to parents ad roommates.

“Guest room?” I ask, tilting my head and letting my eyes trail her up and down. I know she’s watching me.
“Yes. Just because you saw my bed once doesn’t mean you need to see it again.” Jess seems determined with her logic, but her breathing has changed.
Smiling, I lean in to whisper near her ear. “It isn’t your bed that I’m worried about.” I tuck a strand of her hair behind her shoulder and she flinches. She looks at me, confused. “It’s the kitchen,” I add.
I let her brain work for a second before I continue.
“I am 100% certain that is the reason we have Sam.” I have a confident grin on my face and I gently rub my chin as I watch her connect the dots in her memory.
She bites her lip and lets out a sigh as her head tilts. I can see a grin forming at the corner of her mouth, even though she doesn’t want me to see as she looks away. She brushes past me and walks towards the door.
“No lunch?” I ask, satisfied with myself.
“I lost my appetite.” She walks out the door with an extra sway to her step.
This is the first book in the series. Its about two divorced friends, Abby, a Vet and Lucas, a doctor who grew up in the same small town and at one time they hoped for romance with each other but never followed thru. Now divorced they return to their town and find they still are attracted and want to get to know each other.
But they are very different people than they were in their youth. Lucas is a dad and Abby has a pet dog but is not really into marrying and having kids. As these two get to know each other again they fall in love and it was great to see them each moving on from divorce and finding love with each other.
I loved their gang of friends and how their moms liked to meddle in their lives. It was a fun story and things moved quickly and I couldn't put the book down.
This was a really fun story by an author I have not read before. It stars Max, the real estate agent and his newest customer, Harper who is a new teacher in town who needs to find a house. This story is their adventures in home hunting and how Harper manages to seduce max into dating and falling in love with his newest client.
It was a fun story and I loved all the twists and turns in this story as we get to know Max and Harper and Max's friends in this small town. I especially loved watching Max fall for Harper and start to break his own rules and the repercussions in relation to that.
