Reminding Avery by Kaylee Ryan

Most of the guys in my town had me marked as off limits. My dating history was slim to none, until
Dylan. He didn’t let labels deter him from sweeping me off my feet.

The day Avery Stanton took a chance on me is that day my life changed. Nothing else mattered but her.All I ever wanted was for her to be happy. I just wanted to love her, no matter how much distance was between us.

Dylan Knight wrecked me. He made me fall in love with him and then took it all away. Now I’m back, and I can’t deal. How do I pretend that he no longer owns my heart when all my heart does is scream his name?

Avery’s back and I know I have a fight on my hands. I remember every minute, every touch, every kiss, and every breath of our time together. Now I need to remind her.

Addicted 2 Romance Review

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I am a HUGE Kaylee Ryan fan..HUGE. I have serious;y loved every single book she has written and this story was no exception. She has a very different writing style in that its very heart felt but also more laid back. You won't find huge drama or or lots of action but wat you will find is a lot of character building. And this story really is written in her style. It is very character based.

This is a spoiler free romance review but I do want to mention nothing terrible happens. I kept feeling like something tragic would happen as I read this book because you know something splits them up for 4 years. I am happy to say this book is not just romantic and sweet, it also is happy.

As I mentioned the story starts 5 years before and the first part of the book is 5 years before but also takes you thru that one year, so that when the book reaches the second part of the story it is 4 years later. This is also a HEAVY young adult story so be sure that is what you like.

The story starts during senior year for 4 teens:
Harley
Brad
Dylan
Avery

and Alan who is Avery's older brother and is the boys football coach is also avery prominent part of the story.

They all live in a small town, and Harley and Brad are involved and getting more serious and they get their two best friends to hang out together and that is how Dylan and Avery start spending time together. This is very instalove as in Avery and Dylan fall hard for the other once they actually are in each others company.

50% of the book is what happens during that one year and I am not spoiling any of it but the main issue is that Dylan never plans to go to college and Avery does, in fact she is going with Brad and Harley and she has a full scholarship. Dylan's plan is to work for his dad in his auto repair shop.

I am not spoiling what happens but something does and then the story picks up 4 yers later and everyone has graduated college and is now back home. And that is when the Reminding Avery part kicks in. Dylan's job is to fight for Avery now that she is an adult. Plus throw in a wedding and I am not spoiling whose, they get thrown together ALOT.

This is a sweet story and I really loved it. It is heavy on the romance of young love and its the perfect Kaylee Ryan story.
