It all started on a whim after I suggested supporting my family by donating plasma. My husband responded in his thick Slovakian accent, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.”
And my journey began!
I thought about what I like to read, and tapped into my goofy personality. I try to add humor to all of my books, even those of a more serious nature. I seek to create unique characters and hope that each book is different from the last.
Mostly, I just enjoy writing and hope that my readers get a thrill out of the books.
This was my first book by this author and it was extremely well written with a depth to the storyline and the characters that I found wonderful. That said it also had its moments and its a book with a lot of feeling and is not what I would call a light read. There are lots of light moments and I giggled at some of the scenes but as a whole this story will make you cry and sigh a lot.
The two main characters are Kiki/Katherine/Kat and Eric. They meet at a bar for a blind date and they have zero in common except for a drinking game and a one night stand . These two could not be more different except they have the most beautiful hearts and they are both very close to their families.
This story is about giving people a chance, forgiveness and the curves and rocks that life throws at you and how different people deal with things very differently. Its about moving on and compromise and being there for each other.
It was an amazing story and I really loved it and it had many surprises along the way that I am trying to nowt spoil for you.
