This is the last book in the series and it easily stands alone. It stars Reese Maxwell and she is matched with a very wealthy, newly divorced Dom Waldorf. It is a fake romance, friends to lovers romance.
Dom is a brand new character and he runs a fashion store. He understands nasty exes because he is newly divorced. Though I love that his ex is a non issue in this story. I also love how he tries to rescue Reese when she gets bugged by her ex. They enter a fake romance as they both start falling for each other.
This was a great way for the series to end. We get to see Reese find a really awesome guy who she shares a lot in common with and who saves her from her nasty ex who we have seen harass her throughout the series.
We also get a lot of resolution with that, and I loved seeing him get what he deserves and watching Reese stand up to him. She was a total rock star in relation to her nasty ex.
