I loved this book so much. Okay so I say that a lot but this one was different than your typical boss/assistant falling in love and riding off into the sunset together. It was really original, romantic and beyond terrific. It might be my most favorite boss/employee romance ever!

So what made it so different and awesome? Well Catherine and Elliott have this very unique relationship. She is his best employee ever and he is her best boss ever. He admires her work and while he might irritate her at times, she thinks he is awesome and a great boss. The thing is no one else knows that because he likes everything done his way. 

At the start of the book Catherine is pregnant after a one-night stand with her friend. They are not together but they are friends. Elliott has never really looked at Catherine so he never noticed she was pregnant until he can't avoid knowing it. He was so cute during her maternity leave. 

He then becomes her knight in shining armor when he rescues her and the baby and really saves them. I loved how protective and awesome he is with her. I also loved how crazy he gets about his written daily schedules. That part of the story was such an awesome detail that I am not spoiling but you will see what I am talking about if you read this book.
