This is the final book in the series and I was so sad it ended it. I think the author should write more on the kids as they grow up. This is Cruise's/Caleb's story. He is now all grown up. His sister is now 9 years old and he is 29 and he ends up on the task force as well.

While dining out he sees this woman being harassed and that is how he meets Ruby and they start dating. The two are so sweet and cute together and I loved watching them both fall in love. The book starts out with you knowing something big ends up happening that really effects Caleb and I imagined some terrible things, in the end it was a big deal for Caleb but not as awful as I was imagining.

I loved how Ruby is there for him and how his family finally gets him to see what he is doing and how he is hurting himself and the ones that he loves. Despite my hating the end of this series ending, it was a wonderful series ending.

This was a really fun story with a nanny/boss olderman/younger woman storyline. We meet Grey before his wife dies and we follow along with him over his loss and how he deals with it. The same with Marin, as she ends up finding out her boyfriend has been cheating on her for years with her best friend. It destroys her so much that her parents end up kicking her out eventually and forcing her to work as a nanny for Grey.

It is definitely not love and lust at first sight. Both Marin and Grey have been destroyed by their exes. They are both good people but they are trying to deal with their broken hearts. I LOVED the kids and especially Marin with them. My heart broke for poor baby Aaron and Grey.

I loved how Grey finally starts to live and how he has to learn to deal with the issues that face him. He is a strong man and I loved how he and Marin fall for the other and get together. This was a wonderful story and I loved it so much. I fell hard for all the characters in the story.

This is book 2 in a series, though it does stand alone, I loved the characters because I enjoyed revisiting them. and I think things moved so fast because I knew the characters rather than they were just introduced.

The first book was Boomerangers and I really suggest you read it first. This is the story of Gina aka Tink, a 35-year-old sex therapist who has no desire to settle down and marry ever. One reason is she cannot have kids at all, and two she likes her freedom a lot.

Gina's bestie is having a baby, and she is taking her besties two boys on a cruise while the new mom recovers. And that is how Gina meets Jeffrey aka The CEO, who is a 40 year old widower with two girls. It is love at first sight for the two kids and that means Gina and Jeff spend a lot of time on the cruise together.

The cruise is only 30% of the story, the other part of the story is the after the cruise stuff where we get to see Gina and Jeff falling for the other despite them living in different cities, having nothing in common, and being not each others types.

This book was seriously funny, sweet and romantic and a seriously fun time. I LOVED all the kids/pre-teens in this story. They really enhanced the story and I LOVED the ending so much. The only thing I didn't like about this story was its title, while it was a cool name I don't understand how it had anything to do with this story.

Ava is the younger sister of Barrett's best friend and he has always had an attraction to hr. But he has squashed it for years because of the Bro Code.

Meanwhile Ava has crushed majorly on B but never knew he was attracted to her. Until he is in town for her father's retirement party and she sees him naked and then ends up getting sick with him. But the Bro code is still a big hinderance for the two.

B is also a high powered lawyer and Ava is about to start a new job taking over for her dad, so it is not the right time for these two to get together. But the heart and attraction don't care it wants what it wants.

I really enjoyed this story. I think Ava forgave B a little too easily but despite that I really enjoyed this story. It is well written and I loved B and A together and they have some really fun and hot times together.

I loved how protective and sweet Jared is with Steph and I loved seeing the WAGS help Steph and protect her. Cooper/Izzy/Riley and Vi and Matt are heavily featured in this story and are there very much so for Steph and Jared.

This was a well written and very enjoyable story with some suspense and drama with Steph's ex. My heart broke a little for Steph and I totally loved the ending.

I jolt awake, momentarily disoriented by the rhythmic beeping coming from my right. Beep. Beep. Beep. Again and again, the sound causes my temples to throb. Even though my eyes are still pinched closed, I know this is not my room, and I am not in my bed. Without warning, the events that led me here flash through my mind: hitting Simon’s truck and the subsequent ambulance ride. I remember the CT scan, and being given pain medication. I must have fallen asleep shortly after that.

I inhale deeply, trying to get my bearings, and cringe at the smell of antiseptic hanging in the air. God, I hate hospitals.

Slowly, I try to blink my eyes open, only to immediately close them again. Whimpering at the brightness of the room, I sink farther into the small, firm mattress before steeling my resolve to try again.

I peel one lid open and hold it, adjusting, before peeling the other open as well. “So bright,” I whine to myself, squinting up at the light above me. My head feels like an entire drumline has taken it as their practice space; the thrumming and pounding is incessant.

With all the strength I can muster, I roll my head to face the far wall of the small hospital room, only to startle at the sight of the most gorgeous man I’ve ever laid eyes on sleeping in the chair in the corner, his light-brown hair messy, his chiseled jaw covered in stubble. “S-Simon?” I whisper, more to myself than to him.

All the same, he jolts like someone took a live wire to his skin. “You’re up?” He lunges from the chair toward me, gently taking my hand in his, scanning my body before bringing his deep-blue eyes to mine. “Are you—fuck, you have no idea how happy I am to see those baby-blue eyes right now. Let me call for your doctor.”

He starts to withdraw his hand from mine, and I let out the most pathetic whimper, halting him. “Don’t go,” I beg.

“Not going anywhere. Just gonna hit the call button,” he assures me, leaving me feeling foolish, even though that wasn’t his intention.

This story was just wonderful. It stars Simon from the last book and Magnolia who is on the run from a crazy abusing husband. While it deals with a scary and painful subject, we don't have to witness the abuse until the very last scenes. Most of the book deals with Simon and Mag's relationship and how they become friends and eventually lovers.

It is pretty instant love at least on Simon's side but it is very well done and I loved Simon so much. He is the perfect guy for Mag's and he totally listens and is there for her no matter what. I hope we see more in this series because I am loving it so far.

This is book 3 and while it can stand alone, I suggest you read the other books in the story as it introduces all the characters and their back history. Things that happen in this book will be more meaningful if you read the earlier stories.
