INFINITE

#PREORDER NOW! #LIVE 8/15!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Hale Wilder, aka the Anaconda of Wall Street, spent his childhood fighting to be the best to win his father’s love. He was the best student and the best athlete, who grew into a successful businessman and took the finance world by storm. Want to retire before you’re forty-five? He’s got you. Need your millions to be billions? He’s your man.

Young, rich, and powerful, Hale was unstoppable, until a company scandal destroys his reputation and threatens to bring down everything he’s bled for.

Becca Shields is the kickass public relations goddess spinning scandals to gold and launching has-beens into superstardom. She never expected to see Hale again—not following the humiliating night when her family caught them on the beach, barely clothed.

When Becca discovers Hale is in trouble, she can’t turn her back on the boy who was once her world and the man she never forgot.

Hale never thought he’d have another shot at greatness or with Becca. Now that he has both, he won’t let either go without a fight.

*NOTE* Although a part of a series, INFINITE can be read as a complete STANDALONE and features a new couple!

This is book 3 in a series and I have read and loved them all. But this one was really painful to read at first. It is very different than the other two in the series in that it deals with abuse by a father and daughter and I do not like reading things like that. Even after Becca leaves home, men still manipulate her and that was very tough for me to read. So getting thru the first part of the book was very painful for me.

The author does put in a note at the start of the book that not everyone has happy growing up years and that is who this book is dedicated too and I think that if this is something that is sensitive for you, you should know this. Once that is over, the book gets really GOOD. Like I cannot put it down good.

Hale and Becca fell into a deep friendship young and then love at 20. On the night they were going to claim their life, things get hard. Then the book starts ten years later and we meet Hale and Becc who have stayed distant friends but who never managed to get things together. Hale is accused of stock market tampering and that is when his friends support him and Becca and him start really talking about the past and the things that have happened.

Things are not simple and they have to work for the relationship they want .It was extremely well written and I really loved it once I got past the painful start. It is definitely angysty in the beginning and then it becomes a much lighter book as we see Becca and Hale together. I highly recommend it but you should beware that the beginning is painful to read.

This was a wonderful story and the writing was so perfect. This is a spoiler free review so all I can say is it is a very original storyline. I actually have never seen a story like this told before and it is dealt with in a wonderful way.

Grace and Jax meet at a family/friend wedding and Grace is heavily warned off Jax. I loved how they meet and the fun and humor they share together. But Jax only does one nights and Grace is the long term/white picket fence/babies kind of girl.

But fate has more instore for them. They meet again as Grace is a fundraiser and Jax has a lot of funds. He doesn't know it yet but Grace and him will run into each a lot and they get to know each other very well.

But Jax has a BIG secret. A very big and painful one and Grace will have a decision to make. And that is all I can say. I truly loved this story. It is my first book by this author but I cannot wait to read more.

IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME by Kylie Scott

"Addictive like all Kylie Scott books, you'll swoon, laugh, ache, put your life on hold, and compulsively read until the wee hours of the night—only to reread the whole thing the next morning. Perfection!" - Katy Evans, New York Times bestselling author

ABOUT THE BOOK

Returning home for her father’s wedding was never going to be easy for Adele. If being sent away at eighteen hadn’t been bad enough, the mess she left behind when she made a pass at her dad’s business partner sure was.

Fifteen years older than her, Pete had been her crush for as long as she could remember. But she’d misread the situation—confusing friendliness for undying love. Awkward. Add her father to the misunderstanding, and Pete was left with a broken nose and a business on the edge of ruin.

The man had to be just as glad as everyone else when she left town. Seven years later, things are different. Adele is no longer a kid, but a fully grown adult more than capable of getting through the wedding and being polite. But all it takes is seeing him again to bring back those old feelings. Sometimes first loves are the truest.

EXCERPT

It was meant to be a soft kiss. A chaste one, even. The minute my lips touched his, however, everything changed. Callused hands grabbed the sides of my face and my mouth opened on a gasp. His tongue swept inside, taking me over. Holy hell. Shoes and purse hit the floor, forgotten. Nothing about this kiss was slow or easy.

The man devoured me. Every ounce of emotion poured into that kiss, all of the anger and frustration between us. His tongue was teasing and tasting, driving me wild. Then he drew back to suck and nip at my bottom lip. One hand slid around the back of my neck, the other over my hip to grab at my ass. His hold was firm, a little rough even. He treated my body like it belonged to him and I wasn’t gentle either. Apparently experience mattered. Because all I could do was try and keep up. I held on tight to his open shirt, straining against him, trying to get closer. I’d have crawled inside the man if I could. Turned out that under certain circumstances, the taste of scotch worked for me in a big way. Against my hip, his cock hardened, digging into me. And oh my God, I’d done that to him. Me. How amazing!

Meanwhile, my body felt liquid, core aching and empty. I needed him inside of me and it seemed like I’d already been waiting forever. “Pete. Please.” “Fuck,” he muttered, breath hot against my ear. I fumbled at the remaining buttons on his shirt. My damn fingers didn’t seem to be working. Easier to just push the whole thing upward. Luckily, the man decided to help, tearing the shirt off over his head. More skin was good. And he was so hot and smooth, a thrill to the touch. The solid flesh of his pecs and the flat plane of his stomach. He tore at the zipper on the back of my dress, dragging fabric down over my shoulders.

A growl came from the back of his throat, a noise of frustration, impatience. I’m reasonably certain I heard the silk rip. I didn’t care. His hands and mouth seemed to cover every bit of skin revealed, touching and tasting me everywhere. The dress got stuck on my hips. Out of the way enough for now. He didn’t even bother undoing my bra, simply peeling down one of the lace cups to free my flesh. My breast filled his hot palm as it took the weight. Fingers plumped me, his thumb flicking over my hard nipple. The sting of pain followed by the heat of his kiss made my head spin and my body ache.

There was no room for thought as he fed me deep, wet kisses. Slowly, he took us to the floor. No time for anything else. Just the urgent need to have him inside me. The hardness of the polished wood was cool against my back. My legs were spread, his body between them. And with his broad chest above me, his weight taken on one arm, he was all I could see. I swear even the insides of my thighs were wet, I was so ready. It would have been embarrassing with anybody else. But this man, he had to know, he had to understand. It had always been him. “Pete, I need—” “I know,” he said, voice harsh and low.

This was a pretty awesome story told in the first person. It is about Adele who falls in love with her neighbor and dads partner Pete as a teen. It is told in the present and past so we watch how the two become so close and then how things fall apart.

Adele has been away for 10 years since the disastrous night. Now she is back home as her dad is remarrying and she is there for the wedding. Her dad has her move in with her crush, Pete. Which is really what was crazy about this story. Everyone knows she had this huge thing for Pete 10 years ago. So its not shocker how things go as she hangs around for the wedding and after.

I really enjoyed it though I really wanted to hear Pete's thoughts. It is told through Adele's feelings and actions and I really wanted Pete's side of things. That said I really enjoyed it.

MIXED UP LOVE by Natasha Madison

ABOUT THE BOOK

Hunter When my business partner asked me to do him a favor, I had no idea he was sending me on a blind date his mother arranged for him. I walked in the bar, saw the woman drinking her third martini, and knew I was in for an eventful night. After the unexpected second date, she didn't know my real name or who I really was.

By that time, the lie was too far gone, and I wanted her too much to admit the truth. Laney It's not every day you find out your ex-boyfriend is engaged. I shouldn't have agreed to the blind date. My mother insisted, and I wasn’t in any position to turn down a night out. I will admit, I definitely shouldn't have ordered that fourth martini before said blind date even arrived. The man turned out to be swoon worthy, handsome, condescending—a perfect distraction.

Then I found out he was a liar. I've never been in over my head to this degree. Then again, I've never been in love.

EXCERPT

I pull up to the front door, and the valet meets me at my door once I stop. “Good evening, sir,” he says once I open my door. “Yeah, I won’t be here long,” I tell him as I get out, not bothering to take off my sunglasses when I hand him the keys. “No worries, sir. It will be here when you are ready,” he says, handing me the ticket for later. I put it in the inside pocket of my suit jacket. I walk inside to the hostess table, where a woman who looks like she is eighteen stands smiling.

“How may I help you?” she asks sweetly. I stop and look around to see if I might recognize the woman I’m here to meet, even though I’ve never met her. I spot a couple of women at the bar, but I instinctively know they aren’t her. I also check for exits. It’s not my fault; it’s just instilled in me. Looking to the left, I don’t see anyone sitting alone, but then I look to the right, and I see her. I don’t know why I know it’s her, but I just do. With curly long blond hair, she downs a martini, then picks up another one and brings it to her mouth.

I spot a waiter walking with two more martinis on his tray, and I’m not surprised when I see him approaching her table. “Great,” I say under my breath. “I found her,” I tell the hostess and start walking toward the table. She spots me and watches my every move. Luckily, the glasses I’m wearing stop her from seeing my eyes. The closer I get to her, the more my pulse speeds up. What the fuck?

This is weird. I look around maybe to see if something else is piquing my interest or maybe I spotted something to elevate my pulse, but no, it’s her. The fact that a gorgeous woman is sitting by herself and drinking like a fish is enough to get any man’s adrenaline pumping. Isn’t it? “Are you Laney?” I ask, taking off my glasses, and my gray eyes finally meet her blue ones. She opens her mouth, expecting, I think, something to come out, but nothing does. I continue looking around to see if anyone is watching her, and it’s no surprise that I spot two guys at the bar sizing her up. “Here are two more.” The waiter smiles at her, putting two more glasses down on the table and taking the two now empty ones away. She laughs nervously, and I want to reach out and trip him when he walks away. “It isn’t what it looks like.”

Her soft voice breaks me out of my plan, and I turn back to her as she smiles at me, causing my heartbeat to skyrocket. The collar of my shirt suddenly feels tight, but it’s not even buttoned. “Really? I find it hard to believe,” I finally say. Looking around again, I spot the same two guys in suits sitting at the bar watching her. This time, one of them spots me and looks back down at his drink. “It looks like you’re sitting here waiting for something bad to happen.” I pull out the chair and sit in front of her. “Um.” She still doesn’t say anything.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...

I LOVE this author and this is book 1 in her brand new series about a bunch of men who work in a private security firm. Anthony is one of the guys but his mom has set him up with a blind date. However Anthony has met this wonderful woman, so he begs his friend and partner Hunter to go on the date.

Hunter goes but plans to be there 5 minutes until he sees Laney and falls HARD. Yes there is insta lust/love here. But also Laney and Hunter drive each other a little crazy. However Hunter has a tough time tell her he is not Anthony and when she finds out well that is when this book gets super fun.

This was a wonderfully written story with romance and lust and sparks that fly as Laney and Hunter fall hard for each other. I want more stories in this series because this book was seriously wonderful every single second was so fun.

RULES OF FRIENDSHIP by CA Harms

RULES OF FRIENDSHIP by C.A. Harms is LIVE on AMAZON!

ALSO AVAILABLE ON KU: Amazon US | Amazon UNIVERSAL

As a guy, the number one rule to being best friends with a girl should be simple…

Never, and I do mean never, fall in love with her.
Oh and you should never fantasize about her either.

Believe me, that situation can get messy really fast and leave you with nothing but one hell of an awkward mess on your hands—literally.

Reese and I have been through everything together; our bond is deep. But I am going down fast, and I fear there is no way to stop it. I spend most of my time hiding my body’s reaction to her because like I said: just friends.

But things are changing. We are changing.

I no longer see her as just Reese, my best friend. When I look at her now, I see a gorgeous woman that takes my breath away. I see my future. But what if she doesn’t see me the same way?

I can’t risk losing her…

The fear of screwing everything up is excruciating. So that’s why I have chosen to stick to the rules. The Rules of Friendship that is.

She was off limits. Plain and simple.

But then in she walks wearing her tiny shorts and those tight tops. Come on, a guy can only have so much restraint before he caves…

AVAILABLE NOW! Amazon US | Amazon UNIVERSAL

SNEAK PEEK:
“I love you, Reese,” he declares in a raspy voice. Punctuating every word, Dawson repeats, “I. Love. You.” Every drawn out word pierces my heart. He twists his hands in front of him as if to keep them busy and keep him from reaching out for me. “I’ve wanted you for so long, even when I knew I shouldn’t. The hardest thing was pretending that what I felt for you was nothing more than friendship. When on the inside, I wanted to make you mine. I need to know: Are you mine, Reese?”

MEET THE AUTHOR:
C.A. Harms is an avid romance and mystery reader. She's always had a love for books, getting lost in writing and storytelling even as a young girl. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories.

She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes...thankfully.

She is easy going, fun, and although she may seem like one of the quiet ones at first, you just wait until she gets to know you better...that quietness changes, fast.

Reese and Dawson are besties and roomies and have been for years. I mostly loved this story. There is a plot point thrown in the middle of this story and I positively HATED what Dawson did. He was 100% wrong and he ruined something that was pretty terrific with his stupidity. THat said this was a wonderful story about two friends finding love together.

At times I felt Reeses pain from the point where she is love with her bestie and has to watch him with other women and also watch him fall in love. That said he will do anything and everything for her so it is an amazing story to read.

Dawson has the hots for Reese but he also loves her as his bestie. So he tries to deny it all. Until he can't anymore and that is when I fell in love with this story. This is a wonderfully written and complex story.  I really enjoyed it and I recommend it if you enjoy romances between two besties, 2nd chance at love and childhood best friends falling in love.

Beyond the Bases by Kaylee Ryan

About the Book

What happens when you want more in life than just running the bases?
You hang out at home plate and stop playing the field.

He's sexy and irresistible. I've done my best to ignore the magnetism that flows between us. I don't need complications in my life. I can't get wrapped up in his world, the last thing I need is to get attached to a professional athlete. I don’t have time for heartbreak.

Something about her pulls me in. I want to get to know her. I want a chance to show her I'm more than just my career, my paycheck. I'm the man for her. I know I am. No matter how much she resists this connection between us. It doesn't change the fact that she’s my grand slam.

This is Kaylee Ryan's first baseball romance and it is a HOME RUN! Seriously fun and wonderful and sweet and absolutely perfect. Larissa and Easton meet at a bar. She ditches him and refuses to give him her contact info. He is intrigued and chases her around town.

Larissa has a lot going on and she doesn't think a playboy baseball player is what her life needs. And well Easton works hard to get her to add him to her life. I don't want to spoil too much about this story because it was so fun to discover the surprises along the way.

It was a wonderfully written romance about a busy woman and an equally lonely man who find each other and fall hard for the other. It does feature instalove but it also features Easton chasing Larissa pretty hard.

About the Author:

International bestselling author Cora Kenborn writes twisted romances about damaged bad boys and feisty heroines. She promises her readers a happily ever after, although she may or may not take them on an emotional rollercoaster before giving it to them. (Okay, she totally will.) A Southern girl from North Carolina, Cora says “y’all” way too much and has a lifelong addiction to sweet tea. She refuses to “adult” without coffee, thinks pajamas are acceptable daywear, and considers note-taking during true crime shows to be perfectly normal. On the rare occasion that Cora has free time, she spends it avoiding laundry and convincing her family that Hot Pockets are an acceptable dinner. Oh, and autocorrect thinks she’s obsessed with ducks.

This is my first book by this author and in this series. It was okay but there were things that turned me off. Not the couple, Laken and Niall. Those two were cute together but the other characters in the series were kinda gross. They sleep around and not with attractive people but they do it sorta like blackmail or the whole casting couch thing. Big turn off for me and one I was not suspecting.

Now about the couple Niall is a good guy, he is good person, believes in monogamy and is a single dad. He works for an ad agency as a photographer and the board member of the company helped his daughter get into a good school. Now she wants to collect on the favor with blackmail sex. Niall does not want to be her plaything so he invents a fiancée.

Then he takes his daughter to the playground and that's when he meet struggling ad person Laken who works as a nanny. Laken wants in at Niall's firm and when he fake proposes, he agrees to help her get an in. There is one little problem he thinks she is a single mom and not a nanny.

Laken is very dramatic. She totally is wonderful and I loved her in this story. She absolutely made this book fun and wonderful to read. To be honest I am not sure why she pretended to be a mom because it was not an important plot point but when the truth out - well let's say her lie is a BIG one.

This is a story previously released. It was part of the Kindle World and it is novella in size.
