This is Felix and Dahlia''s story and it was super fun. It is a fake relationship romance in the Valley U World and the football team as Felix is their very hot quarterback.
Felix is the older brothers of Stella and Holly who readers might have met in the winter snow stories called Snowed in With the Player and Sneaking Around With The Player. All four characters are also in this book as they are close with Felix.
Dahlia is one of the wall flowers and her roomies and besties are also in this book along with their guys, so Jane, Violet and Daisy are also very involved in this story along with their guys. This story also introduces some new guys as well that are close with Felix and they are really awesome with Dahlia.
Dahlia is crushing on Felix and he is crushing on her too but he also is very discouraged because whenever he tries to talk to her she can't speak, he makes her totally a nervous wreck. But when he is not around, she sort of drools over him. So at a party she gets a little drunk and tells her friend how hot he is and someone tapes it and it totally humiliates her. Felix wants to help her out and hopefully get to know her and so he comes out with a plan for them to fake date.
Felix is a really great guy and a total sweetheart but he has been burned at love, so he just wants to be casual but when he meets Dahlia, he really likes her and thinks she is awesome. So even when he fakes dates her, he is really weird about what he wants to do with her. This is definitely a very slow burn romance with lots of flirting and blushes.
Dahlia is pretty happy that eventually she can start talking to Felix and they get to know each other without any major mishaps. She is having so much fun with him and enjoying the whole faking thing that she doesn't have any idea when it changes from fake to real, but she is just enjoying getting to know Felix.
This was a really fun story and I adored it. Both main characters have really great family relationships and have some really awesome friends. They also have a lot of fun together and both are involved in sports and totally get each other. There are some really fun scenes and I loved everything about this story.

way of pulling everyone into his darkness. Then, to make matters worse, he
convinced you that you liked it there.

I am new reader to this series. I am not a fan of mafia stories and so I have only read the authors recent books. Declan and Solene are mentioned through those books, so I was pretty excited to finally be able to read their story.
There were many surprises along the way. This is definitely a age gap romance as it starts when Solene is 14 and Declan is 22. She is also the daughter of a mafia guy, and her sister marries in the mafia, so the early part of the book has mafia scenes and there is some violence there. In addition, Declan is into sex clubs and BDSM so there are scenes that involve that too.
There is also a revenge plot in that at times Declan is angry with Solene because of what happened when she was 14 and they met. But bigger than that issue is that Declan feels he is too old and depraved for Solene and that she is too good for him. In many ways he self-sabotages himself and at times I hurt for him and Solene.
This book features a romance with two people who are heavily involved with the public and media as she is a songstress, and he is a high-profile movie star. In addition, the story is an age gap and while it's just 8 years, at 14 and 18 it's a huge gap. Also, Declan introduces her to sex and kissing and so in ways he is tutoring her to his likes and dislikes. The two start off as enemies and then then as a fling and then in a fake relationship trope.
There are many twists and turns along the way and lots of drama, angst, and lots and lots of sex scenes. So, if you are sensitive to those scenes, while they are very HOT and passionate, there are lots of them throughout this story.

This was a fast-moving story, and I really enjoyed the authors writing style and that these characters are grown up in how they deal with these issues and what they want their future to be. It's not all roses but it's also not all tears. Chloe is the one who gets to make the decision about her body, but I loved that Liam is so supportive no matter what she decides to do.
I loved this book so much and I cannot wait to read more in this series and see where the future takes Chloe and Liam. These two go from fling to pregnant and then they go from friends to lovers, and it was a really fun ride.

Marrying Beckett Coleman is the best idea I've had in years. This is a football, convenient marriage, single dad romance between Greer Wilder and Beckett Coleman. This story is part of the Wilder Family series and also takes place in the Washington Wolves Universe and is connected to the authors other series though it is also a stand-alone.
In the book Greer explains to Beckett the family tree and here is how she describes it:

They both have one child together and her name is Poppy. She is 21 and is very close with Greer.
In the story Greer wants to make her stepdad Tim happy in his final days. He has Cancer and dreams of walking her down the aisle, but she has no groom in sight and that's where single dad, best friend and teammate to her stepbrother, Beckett comes in.
He has a young, shy, daughter and her mom is getting married and moving away for a year, but she is nervous to go away and leave her daughter with single dad Beckett. And so, a plan is born. They just have to convince everyone that it is a love match.
Beckett is a very different main character than I am used to. He is very quiet and he likes things very planned out and not very emotional. He is 100% a rule follower and he see things only in black and white with no grays. While Greer is his total opposite. She is loud, passionate and boisterous and is not shy or quiet unless she is asleep.
I loved Greer so much. She is a tough cookie, and she fights for what she wants and her family. I adored her so much and I loved watching her and Beckett fall for each other.
This was a wonderful story, but I wanted a faster paced story and at times I wanted more than a kiss or a snuggle. This is an extremely slow burn romance and at times that drove me a bit nuts just like it did Greer. But if you love slow burn this story definitely is very slow burn and you will love it.
