I LOVE this author. I have read every story of hers and I love her writing style and her characters. She writes straight forward stories. They are character driven with no big break ups and issues and are I love getting to know the characters.
This is book 4 in her hockey series and it stars Mark, a new character and Laura, someone who works in the front office and is a daughter of the teams owner. She is good friends with Madison who was featured in book 3.
Mark and Laura meet 2 years before who he gets sent to her team and he likes her a lot but she is getting divorced and her heart is broken so Mark becomes her friend. Now two years later Mark asks her out and she says YES!
And that when the two start their romance. I loved getting to know both characters and watching them fall in love and form a relationship. Laura has the coolest dad ever and I loved how supportive he was. Mark is pretty great too and I loved how close he is with the other guys on the team.
If you want an uncomplicated and fun romantic story then you will love this story.
