This is book 2 in the series, but it easily stands alone. It stars singe dad, Henry who has adopted a 6-year-old named Bodhi. Things get complicated when his ex-moves back to town. Jade has not seen Henry in years and well lets say its complicated and their last interaction was not the greatest. Its a very complicated second chance with two people who have a lot of love but have pretty much always had very bad timing.

This story is about finding yourself and maturing and facing a future. Sometimes love is not enough but timing is also everything. 

It was fun reading some chapters from Bodhi's POV. I also really enjoyed getting to know Jade and find out more about Henry's friends. This is a very satisfying love story. I love that we get to see Jade and Henry fight for their love, even that meant they fought themselves, to get what they need.
