This is Rafe and Lulu's romance. She is the best friend of Henley and he is the brother and her besties fiancee. She is in town spending time with Henley and hiding out from her ex and the media circus he brings. 

Her family hated her ex and she wants to show them that she has moved on and so she begs Rafe to be her fake boyfriend. He asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend so his bosses daughter leaves him alone. 

Rafe is a charmer thats for sure and Lulu is beautiful inside and out. The two are such a fun couple and I loved watching them fall for each other.

This is an author I have not read in a long time. I decided to read this book because it seemed to be a bit different and it was the first book in a new series. I would probably call it more of a prequel to the series. Its a transition book from the hockey teams to this winery which is owned by JM.

I enjoyed the story and am really liking this new series. This was a great prequel story. I liked getting the backstory on all the character's I met in this book because I didn't read their stories. And the next book in this series I am totally excited to read.

This story has a HUGE age gap. I liked how this was addressed in this story. Especially as Tiff is a few years older than JM's daughter. I also loved catching up with Stefan and his wife and daughter. I loved how the family had made Tiff their own. I also loved how protective JM was of Tiff. 

The ex wife who was supposed to be dead but wasn't and causes trouble, made this book all the more fun. This was a really fun book and I really loved it a lot.

This was a really fun book. It stars Rowan and Blake who are exes who fell in love in high school but broke up. He ended up making lots of mistakes in the ten years they have been apart. Meanwhile she was a huge success and now works for the Phantoms team. 

This story begins with a bang and I am serious, its a big disaster that ends up injuring a bunch of the Phantoms and requiring some players from the minor league team to come up to the majors and play in the playoffs. That is how Blake ends up as a temp player on the team that Rowan works on.

This is a second chance romance within the sports and playoff world. Blake made some bad decisions and needs for his chance to payoff. Rowan has a no fraternizing clause in her contract and so its also very much a forbidden relationship. 

I really enjoyed this story. I love ow we get to see both families, Rowans and Blakes within this book. Its not all support and love but thats what made it a lot of fun. This was a really fast read for me and I really loved the drama in this book.

This story features Easton Chadwick who we met a past series by the author. Easton is a hot lawyer who wants to make partner, and he works for Henley's dad. He gets her assigned as his new protegee when she is fresh out of law school.

Henley is the poor rich girl. She has money and a new career and works for her father, but he is a very distant father. She meets Easton and falls not just for him but his family too. For the reader this is a great introduction to the Chadwick family as this series seems to be geared to Easton's siblings. We also get to meet Lulu, who is Henley's bestie from her boarding school days. 

I am not sure this is a forbidden romance. It is definitely a work romance, a secret romance, and even a mentor/mentee romance. But Hen's father is not very fatherly shall we say, so I don't think he really cares if they date. Hen is the one who cares as she doesn't want a bad rep and that's why they keep it secret.

Easton is a broken man. To the outside he looks all together but he is terrified of love and loss and relationships. He has his family, so his fears are well hidden. But he is terrified. Henley threatens his safe world and that was what made this book so much fun. He has to decide if he can or wants to, let the past go. He has a bit of growing up and facing himself and his vulnerability. I really loved seeing him broken a bit and watching Henley put him back to together.
