I really love this series. But this one was just not my favorite. This series features the men on a hockey team and Nate is not a hockey player. He works for a company that makes sports stuff. Essie is best friends with Nate's brothers, fiancee Rix. They don't get along and so when helping with wedding planning they get stuck together a lot.

I have loved this series, all the books I have read the main couples have a lot of chemistry and its hot and fun and quirky. I didn't feel the chemistry with Nate or Essie. It was slow reading for me because not a whole lot happens except a lot of wedding planning.

I would say this is a hate you to love trope book. Its well written and I liked it but I just didn't feel any magic between the two main characters and so its not a favorite of mine in this series.
