This is the first time I have read this author and I had never even heard of this series. It was a wonderful book and I would love to read the whole series. It is book 3 in a series but it stands alone. It also features characters from another series by the author.

The story features Bran Cade, a sexy restaurant owner/manager in Lake Tahoe. He fears himself and so when he finds a woman sexy he avoids her, his hook ups are with women he doesn't find that hot. Ireland is intown living with her cousin and fiancée and working at a casino as an IT person. She has the hots for Bran but he seems to hate her.

Until one day he kisses her....and he cannot get her out of his head. Plus he has other problems, an IT problem and you guessed it only Ireland can help. But weird things keep happening and there is also some suspense in this story. I love all the characters and I loved the IT issue and Ireland is so great. I loved that she makes Bran work for her.

Very well written and wonderful story with great characters and easily stands alone.

This book is #2 in a series and I am enjoying this series. It stars 3 ex country singers who are sisters and this is Sabrina's story. She is the youngest sister and very brash and impetuous. She meets Damian, who is HOT and also about to retire from helping stars with their comebacks and scandals.

His job is to help Sabrina as she wants to go back to Nashville and get a recording contract. I enjoyed this story but I didn't really feel the attraction between D and S. At times he seems to see her as very sexy but also very young and Sabrina is not super mature, at times she was very naïve.

That said I also loved her character. She is very fun and happy even with her scandal. I would have liked to have seen more of Luke and Sabrina's sister and grandmother because they would have really added to the story but I still enjoyed the characters and story.

Blue is pretty wonderful herself but she also has a lot of responsibilities and one is for her brother who has Cerebal Palsy and lives in a home. This is a big plot point in the story, as it ends up causing a rift with Eric but again no spoilers.

I can tell you this is a wonderfully written story and I loved both Blue and Eric. Together they are sweet, hot and very romantic. I am absolutely loving this series and each book easily stands alone.

This was a beautiful and wonderful story about Camden Knight, a world famous folk/country singer who likes rough sex and he has it with the wrong person and exposes himself. This ruins his good guy image and his manager Tate, from the previous series decides he needs a girl next door girl friend. Enter Sutton, Tate's assistant and someone who HATES  Cam and it is 100% mutual.

Sutton is a girl in hiding, she comes off as prissy and not hot at all. She has a famous dad she hates and she is exposed as she pretend dates Cam. It was fun watching her get a makeover and watch her make Cam all nervous and go a little crazy.

These two together are so cute and adorable I fell hard for both of them. This was a seriously fun story and I loved it. I did feel at a point Cam made some terrible decisions and I was 100% on Sutton's side. I felt it went against his character but it was needed for plot purposes.

“Rise and shine,” Joel says as he nudges me. I’m not asleep. I wish I were. My eyes are closed, hat pulled down, but there’s no sleep to be had.

“She’s coming back for more.” The tone in his voice is almost inspired.

I don’t have to look up to know who he’s talking about, but I do anyway. She’s the most entertaining thing about this class. Open my eyes and lift the hat, turn it backward so my view isn’t the least bit blocked.

Today she’s wearing little pink shorts that show off tan legs, yellow tennis shoes that don’t match but somehow work, and a bracelet with a little charm around her left ankle. It’s too small to make out, but I stare anyway. Her brown hair is pulled up in a high ponytail, and she has a megawatt smile plastered on her face. A big bow on top of her head is all she’d need to look like head cheerleader of my high school fantasies.

“Wes, hey, can I talk to you for a second?”

“What’s up?”

I’m hella impressed by the balls on this chick. She’s put her foot in her mouth, not once, but twice, and damn near insulted the entire student athlete population, but she keeps coming back. She has determination and grit. I admire that about her.

I also am not in the least bit offended by her assumption that I’m a dumb jock. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t surprised she came right out and asked who my tutor was, but I know exactly what it looks like. I’ve fed into the stereotype for years, doing nothing to make it seem otherwise. Well, nothing but get straight A’s.

“I have sort of a favor.”

“What’s up?” I stand to walk with her out of the class.

“The tutor center was a bust. I know you said . . .” She looks like she’s choosing her words carefully. “Do you have old study notes or tests from previous semesters?”

“Still convinced I’m not capable of passing on my own, huh?”

“I’m sorry, really, no offense. I just want in on whatever study materials you’re using. I can’t afford to fail another test. What’s your secret?”

The secret? I’m fucking smart. Photographic memory smart and statistics is my whole world, but I can’t resist messing with her.

“You know, saying no offense doesn’t make whatever you’re saying less offensive. It just makes you feel better about saying something offensive.”

Joel snickers behind me. I just can’t resist fucking with her. She’s making it too easy.

“Sorry. I’m really so sorry. What about the other guys on the team? Anyone have any awesome math tutors who aren’t available to us non-jock students? I can pay.”

“Couldn’t say for sure, but I don’t think so. Most the guys hold their own academically.” I lean in catching a whiff of her hair. It smells good—like sugar cookies or candy canes or something sugary sweet that I want to sink my teeth into. “Shocking, I know.”

Her shoulders slump in defeat, and I can tell she’s finally accepted that I have no answers for her. At this point, I almost wish I knew of someone to send her to. I don’t exactly travel in circles that clue me in on secret study sessions and underground tutor societies.

“Thanks anyway.” She gives a little wave with the hand clutched around the strap of her backpack.

Joel catches up to me, and we watch as she crosses the campus toward the library. “Dude. That chick . . .”

“I know,” I say, and we continue to stare after her completely awe stricken.

This is my third book by this author and I really like her writing style. This is book 1 in a two book series or more and it is series I will continue reading as I really loved all the characters. It is a complete story and each book will feature a different male character from the basketball team.

Wes is the star of this story and he is a basketball player who is recovering from a leg/ankle injury and is grounded. He is the caretaker of the team and is extremely smart. He meets a girl, Blair in his statistics class who is flunking and needs his help. She is a real go getter and they become friends/study buddies and more in this story.

Blair has had some really tough things happen to her. One is she is being sexually bullied by her ex and this was the only component to this story I hated. I am not even sure it was a very important part of the story but it did take away some of my love for this story.

That said this is Blair and Wes' story and it was a sweet and sexy romance taking place in college. It is well written and honestly I could not put it down. The author really writes wonderful stories that I cannot resist reading.

 I LOVE this author. I have read every story of hers and I love her writing style and her characters. She writes straight forward stories. They are character driven with no big break ups and issues and are I love getting to know the characters.

This is book 4 in her hockey series and it stars Mark, a new character and Laura, someone who works in the front office and is a daughter of the teams owner. She is good friends with Madison who was featured in book 3.

Mark and Laura meet 2 years before who he gets sent to her team and he likes her a lot but she is getting divorced and her heart is broken so Mark becomes her friend. Now two years later Mark asks her out and she says YES!

And that when the two start their romance. I loved getting to know both characters and watching them fall in love and form a relationship. Laura has the coolest dad ever and I loved how supportive he was. Mark is pretty great too and I loved how close he is with the other guys on the team.

If you want an uncomplicated and fun romantic story then you will love this story.

I have not read this series before, even with that I understood everything and want to read the other books in the series. This story is about Luke, a bigtime TV/movie star who is now divorced from his ex who is trying to destroy his career. He buys a house in the Hamptons as a fixer upper to escape her lies and rumors.

Stella also has an ex from hell. He is out to steal all her construction jobs. That is until Stella convinces Luke to hire her to fix his house and she agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend so the rumors die. That is how the two get to know each other and form a friendship that eventually leads to a romance.

Most of the book I truly loved, Luke was a fantastic character and I loved him, Stella had his back many many times. But then Luke believes a lie about Stella and they have the breakup and I was not a fan of Luke. He treats her pretty awfully and eventually he comes back to reality. My only issue is I wanted Stella to make him pay and I felt she forgave way too easy.

That said aside from this I loved all the characters and the story. I fell hard for Stellas friends and I loved how down to earth Luke was.
