Haunted by a kiss.

With his destructive marriage behind him, Ryan Bennett can no longer deny his insatiable attraction to the one woman in control of his future. He needs her. Craves her. She’s the only glimpse of happiness through the building drama in his life and yet one drunken kiss has pushed her further away.

Tormented by what’s at stake.

Leah Gorman’s management contract states she can never act on her feelings for any members of the Reckless Beat band but Ryan has always owned her heart. No matter how long he’s held her captive with his deep soul and easy friendship, he’s off limits. End of story. If only her heart would get the memo. She can’t resist him. Even when their attraction gets in the way of her job.

The price of love is high. Is it worth the cost?

With Leah’s career on the line and Ryan’s reputation in tatters, ignoring their attraction may prove safer than risking everything they hold dear. They have to decide what matters most—their years of friendship, or a chance at love that will destroy them both if they can’t make it work.

Addicted 2 Romance Review

**ARC Received by the author for an honest review**

I am a big Restless Heart fan. This was actually my first rock and roll series and I truly have enjoyed all the books in the series. This is a book that can stand alone though I suggest you read them all to get a good history of what all the characters have been through over the years.

There are two novellas in this series and I read the first one and chose not to read the second one. It was about the kiss that Ryan and Leah have thats mentioned in the prologue and what Leah does after with her "friend" in Vegas. The first Novella introduces the friend and I didn't want to revisit her fling so I chose not to read it. This book covers the kiss and I never felt I missed anything by not reading the novella prior to this book.

This final book is about Ryan, the guitarist and married member of the band and Leah, their Manager. For years Ryan has been married and in the last book his unhappy marriage finally fell apart and his wife Julie filed for divorce. The prologue is about Ryan being devestated and Leah trying to comfort him and him kissing her.

This story then picks up as the band is about to go on tour. They have decided to not renew their contracts but they have a final tour to get thru. Scott, works for the tour promoters and they want to add some extra dates but because Blake/Gabi are expecting a baby, everyone does not want the extra dates. Scott and Leah form a compromise where Ryan, who is now the only singleish band member will date the promoters new bands lead singer, Felicity.

To be honest I HATED this plot device. I love Leah and well for years she watched Ryan with his wife while they were only good friends and now she has to watch him romance another rocker. Even though throughout this Ryan is saying I want to be with you, and Leah can't go there, still I hurt for her having to watch and even help this circus.

Thankfully I liked Felicity and she had zero interest in Ryan. But still the big stumbling block for Ryan and Leah to even date is a clause in her contract that says if she dates/romances/sleeps with any member of the band she will be fired. So thats really the issue between the two.

Then Julie, who doesn't want to let Ryan go, gets  involved and becomes an obstacle too and well I did not love seeing her again and what her angle is. (NO SPOILER HERE)

But when the guys decide to save Leah and Ryan, OMG I started to totally love this book and the ending just was so great. It was really a great way for the book to end. So while I did not love some of the crazy rockstar stuff in this book I totally LOVED Ryan, Leah, the guys and how they help make Ryan and Leah's romance a reality. And the ending totally ROCKED!!!
