Samantha Lind is a contemporary romance author. Having spent the first 27 years of her life in Alaska, she now calls Iowa home where she lives with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, watching hockey, and listening to country music.

The story opens up the night before Lauren is marrying her long time boyfriend, Brad. And Brad is so wonderful that I totally get why Ren loved him so much. This is a story about a woman who loves two men at once but one is the one she sees forever with and one she just loves.
Who she chooses well I am not spoiling that. I will tell you, I loved how she really takes her time to figure out where her heart leads her. And Sam well he loves her enough to give her that time to do that.
This story was really very special. As I mentioned it happens over a year period as we get to see the aftermath of the wedding and we watch as Ren really learns where her heart wants her to follow. This story is primarily about learning to follow your heart and sometimes that means you have to make some hard choices but to always to listen to the lyrics of your heart.
