This is book three in the series and easily stands alone. It stars 22-year-old, Ashlan and Jace who is nine years older than her, a single dad to two young girls, a fire fighter who works with her father and the guy she has a major crush on. 

When Jace needs a nanny, he hires Ashlan to watch his kids while he works as a firefighter. She has crushed on him forever and Jace likes her a lot but feels because her dad is his boss and the age difference and that he comes with two kids, means that it is a forbidden romance, and he doesn't want to jeopardize the relationship with his kids and her father by dating his nanny.

But Ashlan is not your typical 22-year-old and I loved how mature she is and how awesome she is with Jace's kids. These two despite the age difference are really great friends and eventually they both fall for each other despite the many obstacles in their way. One of which is his ex-wife who comes back wanting some time with his kids.

This was a heartwarming, hot and really awesome romance. Despite all the issues, the barriers, obstacles, love is love and age is just a number in this story. I also loved how supportive Ashlan's family was in this relationship and so while the romance uses the forbidden and age gap tropes, it really was not this huge thing in this story. I felt it made a better story that made it more of an original romance.
