This is Ash and Bridget's story, and it was fun and serious, had lots of hotness, romance but also friendship, second chances, hot guys and sexy hockey player and his nurse. 

One of the greatest parts of this story was the Bridget and Everly connection and friendship. It's a really important aspect of this story and in getting Bridget to give Ash his chance with her. If you are a new reader to this author and/or series I highly suggest you read "Wild About You." Everly is introduced in that book and to really see who she is and her relationships with everyone it's important to read that book before this one. 

This was a sweet, sexy and hot romance but it also dealt with some serious issues like abuse. As the book begins Bridget is watching a hockey game when she meets Ash. He flirts with her, but she has her hands full with a boyfriend who is shall we say, is not very nice to her. Ash then sees her again and the boyfriend is even worse. 

When we see her again, she meets Ash as his nurse and she is currently single but with a horrible ex in her past, an apartment she no longer can live in, and being a student nurse, she has no time for Ash or romance. I love that he really hears her, and he tries to help her out. That is how Everly enters her life, and it really changes everything for her.

The ex is still an issue, but she now has friends, and they help her through things and one of her biggest champions is Ash and I loved that about him. He falls first and very hard for Bridget. I loved that while he is wanting her, he doesn't be with anyone else. His heart is hers and he waits for her to catch up to him. He was awesome and I adored him so much. 

This was a fabulous story and I loved it so much. I cannot wait for Everly to find her guy. Jack was also awesome in this book, and I have no idea where the author is going with him, but I am sure it will be a wild ride. Kudos to the author for dealing with a serious subject of boyfriend abuse and I love that Bridget doesn't put up with it.
