This is a holiday novella featuring the Lauderdale Knights Assistant Coach, Hendrik and Autumn who is Lauderdale Knight player Cam's girlfriend, Suttons, best friend. She used to play on a women's hockey team but has retired. She comes to Florida for Thanksgiving and Christmas to spend time with Sutton.
Autumn and Hendrik have met before. They had a fling until he ghosted her about 6 months before. They run into each other at Thanksgiving, and he asks for a second chance.
Hendrik is 40 something and Autumn is twenty something. He is also a single dad to two twin boys and has ex-wife who he has issues with. His life is very complicated, but he wants a holiday shot with Autumn while she is in town.
This was a really fast paced story. Autumn and Hendrik move really fast. It features a bit of insta love/lust as there are many sex scenes in this book. It's a very HOT holiday romance. I LOVED the addition of the twin boys and wished there were more scenes with them in this story.
There is not a lot of romance in this book but lots of sex. I loved all the holiday parties with the Lauderdale Knights and especially the scenes with Tessa. I also really enjoyed getting to know Hendrik and Autumn.
