Tempting Sophia by Jessica Prince! 11/2

ENTER THE GIVEAWAY

Having my heart broken once was enough to make me give up on the idea of love all together. Instead of searching for The One I decided to embrace variety and turn my back on monogamy. I made a living convincing women they didn’t need a man to feel complete.

And I totally rocked at it.

Until the man who shattered my happily ever after came waltzing back into my life, determined to make me fall for him all over again.

He claims that I’m the love of his life. He wants a second chance, and it seems like he’ll stop at nothing to tempt the hell out of me. But if Dominic Abbatelli thinks he can win me back with his puppy dog eyes, heartfelt apologies, and declarations of love then he’s...probably right.

Addicted 2 Romance Review

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is book 2 in a series and it continues the story of Lola and her besties who also work together on a radio show. The 1st book featured Lola in Seducing Lola. Lola was this adorable Italian girl who did not have the best male family members. Her father is beyond words awful and her brother while in love with her bestie cheated on her with a one nighter. Her  best friend Sophia was broken hearted and even if it was 10 years ago she still hates Lola's brother Dominic.

Now Dom has decided he hates his father as well and wants to escape him so he moves to Seattle where both Lola and Sophia live and his number 1 goal is to make things up with Sophia because he is still is deeply in love with Sophia.

The thing is Sophia didn't just hear Dom cheated on her. She actually witnessed it while he was inside this other girl. So that image has stayed with her ten years and it is no going anywhere. I LOVE that Sophia does not let that go.Even if Dom feels they were broken up and he did not cheat. That image is one that Sophia really can't let go off. And I totally got that.

On the other hand Dom loves her forever and he works hard to get her to forgive him. I liked that the author never added anyone really to make the other jealous except for the evil Chelsea. I am not sure I would have forgiven Dom so I understood Sophia's dilemma.

This was a well written and super romantic and a HOT romance. I loved every minute of it and I loved all the scenes with Sophia and the girls get into some mischief again with their radio show. This book had some funny moments and a lot of really great characters. I cannot wait for Daphne's story next.

About the Author

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says. In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
