I never thought a pecker would get me in so much trouble.I mean, sure ... if you ’ re talking about a certain anatomical feature of mine that the ladies just l ove. Given my bachelor status and appreciation for all things curvy and femin ine, I could absolutely see that. But a different pecker is making my life much harder than it needs to be.

Her name is Viveka Jones and she is so much more than a pretty face. She ’ s got wit, charm, and razor-sharp smarts. Turns out my client is looking to bulldoze the red -cockaded woodpecker ’ s natural habitat in favor of a multimillion-dollar subdivision and the sex y attorney with legs for days (and days), just happens to be counsel for an animal rights group looking to put a halt to construction.

This is a fun lawyer story. Ford and Veka start off as adversaries and then they end up in bed together. Veka is a very strong female and I loved that about her. Ford really needed someone very strong and he really appreciates everything that Veka stands for.
The two start off with sex but then they get to know each other and I loved watching them fall in love with the other and have to fight each other in court.
I loved the title which actually stands for what they name their case Pecker" as in Woody Wood Pecker. I loved learning how you argue a case and get the facts to back that up. If you love seeing lawyers at work, you will love this story.
