This is book 2 in the series and it easily stands alone. It takes us to a small town River Bend where everyone knows everyone and everyone grew up together. It introduces us to Trey and Hillary who are close family friends and close friends but who have never even shared a kiss. Until they do and that is when Trey decides he is all in but Hillary, thinks he is a bad bet and so the convincing begins...

I loved this entire story. Even the exes that try and get in the way of Hill and Trey. I want to see them find happiness. I loved Mia and Brett and Mason and Clarke and Jaxson and Sybil. Every single side character was wonderful even if at times I wanted to slap them. 

At times Trey was a wonderful character full of romance and hotness and other times I wanted to kick his butt. Hillary has this great guy and she has to learn to open her heart to him and when she does well WOW. 

I absolutely LOVED this story and I am really loving the author's writing style. This is my third book by the author and she is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine.
