The Heart of Stone series moves into the next generation with Hard As Stone, a full-length novel featuring Tristan and Nina's son, Ethan.

Trouble. Playboy. Heartbreakingly gorgeous. Ethan Stone, the only son and spitting image of billionaire Tristan Stone, has a long line of women who would kill for a night with him, and rumor has it he's more than happy to oblige.

But Ethan has a problem. His family wants him to settle down. Why, he can't understand. But he needs to figure out a way to convince them he's given up his wild ways while at the same time living his life the way he wants to.

He has a plan, though, and Summer Carmichael, the quintessential girl-next-door, is perfect to help him. But Ethan better watch out or he might just find himself falling for exactly the kind of woman his family wishes he'd bring home.

Before I begin my review I want to share that I have NEVER read this author before, nothing from her and this is a 2nd generation series. It stars Ethan Stone who is the son of the first series.  Ethan is a playboy photographer and he meets Summer on a job. She is running the photo shoot as she is an editor assistant of a magazine.

The two have a one night stand, but Ethan thinks Summer is a good girl and so he thinks it will quit his family that he is finally settling down so he convinces Summer to be his fake fiancee. But one of the big issues for these two is that their romance is grounds for them to be fired at work so the charade is a big risk.

I really loved the Stone family. I will definitely be reading the next stories in this series again. That said I did not love the author's writing style (as I mentioned its a new author for me.) At times I was confused as I felt the book sort of told me things that happened and it jumped into the future. I like to experience it rather being told after the fact. That said it was well writtend, I just did not like the way it jumped ahead in the story.

I absolutely LOVED Tressa and Diane. and their relationship with Ethan. I loved how Tressa joins the fun as she butts in Ethan's love life.
