I received a review copy of the book before release for an honest review.
Elle Kennedy is a favorite author of mine and I read book 1 in the series. This is book 2 and it can easily stand alone. It is well written, romantic very fun in that Jake and Brenna have a secret relationship. It is a wonderful enemies to lovers storyline.
Jake is a star football player at Harvard, Harvard and Briar have a big rivalry. Brenna is the daughter of the coach at Briar. They have friends in common but hate each other. That is Brenna needs Jake's help to land an internship. That is how they both form a friendship.
The two are really great together and it was pretty wonderful to watch them both slowly get to know the other and fall in love. I also loved the fireworks when their secret relationship explodes among their friends and family.
