Aside from writing romance, Elise's passions are chocolate, Star Wars, and hockey (the order depending on the day and how well her team -- the Sharks! -- are playing).

 

 She and her husband also play as much hockey as they can squeeze into their schedules, so much so that their typical date night is spent on the ice. Elise is the mom to two exuberant boys and is thoroughly addicted to Dancing With the Stars.

This is Bec's story. She is the single lawyer in a group of close friends. She is also a workaholic. One day she comes home from work and discovers her ex, Luke on her doorstep. Luke was her husband and her boyfriend in high school and college and they even married until the things he said he loved about her he also started criticizing and that's how they ended up divorced.

 

Now years later he is back and he finds out they never divorced and he is ready to be all in with Beck but first he has to earn his 2nd chance. I loved how strong a woman Beck is but also how sweet a and awesome she is. She really makes him work for it.

 

This is a new favorite for me in this series. It easily stands alone but it also brings back the other women from the other books in the series and I loved seeing them again.
