This is book 2 in the series but I have only read this story. It easily stands alone. It stars Sebastien, a very rich man and his employee, Harper. Harper needs money because her ex stole some money from her and Seb thinks it will keep all the gold diggers away from him. So the two become engaged and even end up living together.
That's when they start to fall for the other but the ex is still after Harper and will Seb save her?
I kinda hated the first part of the story. I did not like reading about all the exes and how Seb treats them and Harper. These two hate each other but something happens as they become roomies, they start falling for the other. And that was my favorite part of this book. Seriously LOVED that Seb and Harper.
Unfortunately Seb is an idiot and the ex manages to get in the way and that's when he becomes a jerk again and I kinda hated him again. But then he turns things around and I fell for him again.
The writing was pretty good. At times I loved and hated Seb and that's pretty much how Harper felt as well. I felt she needed to be less forgiving of him but beyond that I enjoyed this story a lot.
