Ace and Ruby met when she visited her brother at college. It did not go well when Ace kissed someone, and it was not her. So, she wants nothing to do with him. He on the other hand knows he screwed up and tries everything to get on her good side and give him a second chance.
This story starts out with her hating him for how he acts about women and how he dissed her. If he wants a second chance with her, he will have to work hard for it. It's also very much a forbidden romance and as they get to know each other it is also a very secret romance because if they date, she will get fired.
I LOVED Ruby and Ace. Ace actually is a really awesome guy and no matter what he is there 100% for her. He becomes really worthy of her, and I really adored him. Ruby falls hard for Ace and I loved that she took the risk for him. She is someone who is a real go getter, and she was perfect for Ace.
If you love college romances and second chances, you will love this story. It is very much a light, fun and very forbidden romance with an awesome cast.
