This is Ben and Cory's second chance. They have never been together, but both have been into each other for years, but they have never gone for it before. This is their last chance as Cory has pretty much given up on Ben and has distanced herself from him. Meanwhile Ben has realized he has picked everyone else but Cory and that he has to convince her to give her a shot.
This is a forbidden romance and best friend's younger sister romance. Plus, Ben is a very hot, single dad who has an adorable daughter, Bernie. Can Ben let Cory in? And will Cory give him a shot at her heart? There is also a lot of angst, love, passion, friendship and romance in this story. I loved how when Ben goes all in, he really goes all in. I loved that Cory's heart has never given up on him.
This is the final book in the series, and it was really the very best one. I absolutely loved it and thought it was a wonderful ending to a really awesome series.
