FREE IN KU! Rule Breakers Fall Hardest - The Boys #6 - By Micalea Smeltzer (Daire and Rosie)

Rule Breakers Fall Hardest by Micalea Smeltzer is now live!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Once upon a time, Daire Hendricks was my childhood crush. He was always there, saving me from his annoying brothers. He was my rock, my safe place from my overbearing family.

Until he wasn't.

Imagine my annoyance when we end up at the same university and I have to see his smug, too-handsome-for-his-own-good face all over campus.

Every time we cross paths, we spew hateful words at each other, so imagine my surprise when he seeks me out and utters the most surprising question.

"Marry me?"

He needs my help, and his solution is marriage. It's a pretty big ask, but somehow, I find myself saying yes. We might hate each other now, but the benefits of this arrangement are worth it.

But what neither of us expects, is when playing house starts to feel a little too real.

Falling for each other was never part of the plan, but you know what they say about the best laid plans?

They often go awry.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a long book but worth every second. It easily could have been duet but I love that the author put it out in a standalone book. I would separate it into two books.

Its a story about two rich college students in the senior year, Daire and Rosie. Their families were very close until D and R had a falling out. Now they both hate each other, until Daire discovers he is a dad to his old professor fling exes new baby son. But he is not named on the birth certificate, so he is in for the fight of his life. He decides the only one can ask for help is his ex-best friend, Rosie.

The first part of the book takes us into Daire and Rosie's past and present. We learn about how they were once besties until high school. Even though they both hate each other, when the chips are down, Daire begs Rosie for her help in getting his son and proposes. Will she accept? Okay if you read other books in the series, you know they get married. But you also know what happens on their wedding night....and I loved Rosie's reaction.

The first part of their book is the beginning of their marriage, their telling their families and the drama in relation to sharing that news. And of course, the fight to get his son listed as his son. And its where they start to fall for each other.

The second part of the story is how they get his son and the adjusting to their relationship and parenthood. In addition, the family's reaction to Daire becoming a daddy with a real live baby to take care off. My favorite character in this part of the book was coach. He was so awesome!!

This is a one of the best convenience marriage and enemies to lovers and second chance romance I have ever read. Make sure you have plenty of time to read it because you won't be able to put it down.
