This is Owen's story. He is a single dad, and he ends up hiring his best friend's little sister as his nanny. Esteline is his best friend's little sister who has been in Paris studying art and living with her boss and lover. Until things go very bad.

She is pretty broken hearted when they meet and don't realize who the other is. That is until her brother brings her over to meet Owen for a job interview for the nanny job.

This story moved a bit too slowly for me. They have a very hot one-night stand and then they both try and move away from it and forget it. So, this story moved a bit slower than I would have preferred. They have pretty strong chemistry, but they have a lot of obstacles in their way like her brother, the fact that she works for her, her toxic ex and her trying to get back into the artist she is. She has lost a lot of confidence in herself, her art and I loved how Owen helps to build her up.

Owen is a very busy doctor and I really enjoy reading about this trope. I wish there had been more in the hospital and about being a doctor. Most of the activity of this story takes place at his apartment and her at college/art studio. 

I really loved that we get to catch up with the authors characters from her previous series and how they are very connected to the characters in this series.
