Finding Hayes - Magnolia Fallas #5 - By Laura Pavlov (Hayes and Savannah)

Finding Hayes by Laura Pavlov is now live!

ABOUT THE BOOK

A Small Town, Marriage of Convenience, Forced Proximity, Standalone Romance from USA Today and Amazon Bestselling Author, Laura Pavlov.

Sometimes relationships come along that define you.

Someone who brings out sides of you that no one else sees.

The reason that you try to be the best version of yourself.

Savannah Abbott was my North Star growing up.

She was my best friend, my neighbor, and the person who knew me best.

But without warning, she was gone in the blink of an eye.

My life began unraveling the day she left Magnolia Falls.

Because apparently, when you lose the best thing in your life, it’s all downhill from there.

But I’m a survivor— and I forced myself to move on.

My guard went up, and my ability to trust people disappeared.

Until the day Savannah came back to town—more than a decade later.

And now she’s acting like I’m the enemy.

She wants nothing to do with me, even all these years later.

Until she needs a favor.

A temporary husband.

I may not be the marrying type, but for Savannah, I’m willing to bend the rules.

None of this is real, and she reminds me of that every day while we’re playing house.

I may fight fires for a living, but my new wife is a flame that I don’t want to extinguish.

She’s the fire that’s been missing all along.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the final book in the series, and it was so good! A perfect way for this series to end. And at the end we even get to see who's next.

Hint, he is also in this story, and we even get a few chapters from his book as a preview.

Before I talk about this book, I want to share some warnings for those who are sensitive to those subjects in books. First, Cancer is a big part of this story and second, there is child abuse discussed in this book. It's not violent and it is after the fact, but it also impacts Hayes life and why he is the way he is. It's one reason why he never wants to have kids.

Savannah and Hayes were besties until she left town, and they never spoke or saw each other again, until this book begins. She is in town because her grandfather has died and he left her his house, but with some strange requirements.

A really huge part of this story is forgiveness. Maybe not forgetting but also giving family a second chance and finding a way to move on. This is a big theme in this book. For instance, Savannah's mother is pretty awful and yet they still have a relationship. Hayes mother was the worst mom ever and yet she wants a second chance to do better. And Hayes and Svannah ask each other for a second chance. It's a big theme in this story and it really resonated with me.
