I really love this authors stories. She writes these amazing characters that are fun, sweet and romantic and perfect together and who live in small towns and have known each other for years, it makes a warm and wonderful romance and this is a brand new series of hers.
This is about Ash and Emma. Emma had a hard time growing up and as soon as she was 18 she left home and got an apt and job and thats where she is today. She works at a diner and at the library and doesn't have huge career aspiratons. But she had a MAJOR crush on Ash n high school though he didn't know she existed.
Ash knew Emma in high school but he was with Courtney who he ends up married, divorced and now is a single dad. He knew Emma in high school but they did not KNOW each other. Now he sees her and wants to get to know her.
This is a novella length story but it was pretty wonderful. Full of warm characters who don't have too many hang ups and just want to get to know each other and spend time together. Its a fun story and very romantic and Ash is fantastic as our hero. While the ex is around she is with someone else and there are no major dramas there which I kinda loved.
