I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the story of Lyle and Sammi. They grew up together as neighbors and he was her brothers best friend. (We do not know the best friend as he is not a part of the band.) They have always loved each other but time was not their friend as Sammi is 3 years younger than Lyle and he felt the best friend and age thing made it a very forbidden relationship. Lyle pretty much knows Sammi is his, but he is waiting for her to grow up.
But time goes by a bit too fast for Lyle and he is living the rock n roll life. Sammi is not waiting for him and ends up engaged to Trent. The story begins on what is supposed to be Sammi's wedding day to Trent and I am not spoiling all the fun related to that day.
This story has A LOT of sex. I personally thought there was a bit much for my taste. But these two know each other and love each other so it's not like they have to get to know each other. They are close friends and have never dated so I liked that the author explores this new aspect to their relationship as lovers.
There is no cheating in this book, and I felt that there was not much of an ex-drama, and I really liked that about this story. Sammi and Lyle are adorable to each other, and I loved how honest Sammi was and how she gets to know the band.
There is a surprise baby in this story, and I am not spoiling anything about the baby. But I loved this different twist in this story.
