“Oh. My. Gosh! Loved this book! I think this may be the best HEA that I have read.” ~ Goodreads Review (Allison)
“Freezing the Puck was absolute perfection. I loved it so much!” ~ Renee’s Reading Nook
Justin I thought I’d left my past in Minnesota when I moved to Iowa, but it was right there waiting for me.
Long blonde hair, curves in all the right places, and a death glare that hits harder than a slap shot to the solar plexus. On the ice, I’m a pro at blocking shots, but Savannah Bowen has slipped behind all my defenses and made a home in my heart.
I had no intention of revisiting the past, but when she’s damn near everywhere I go, I’m a goner.
Savannah
Hell freakin’ no.
It doesn’t matter that Justin Ashe is seven feet tall and sexy as sin, or that I’ve had a crush on him for years. He cheated on my best friend in high school, and that makes him off limits.
I can’t be with him, but damn, it’s impossible to stay away from him. Girl Code says uteruses before duderuses.
He’s supposed to be my enemy, but the more I see of him, the blurrier the lines get.

She can either be found enjoying a gin and lemonade by the Irish sea, or baking sweet treats in her kitchen while singing at the top of her lungs. When she’s ‘home’ in Texas, and isn’t eating fresh-popped popcorn while buying things she has absolutely no need for in Target, she can be found at Chuys eating her body weight in chips and queso and washing it down with a margarita swirl. She loves to make friends out of strangers.
I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have never read this author before but wow I totally loved this book so much. It was a wonderful friend enemies romance between two people who knew each other in a small town and now are in college. It's also a forbidden type of romance because Savannah is close friends with Justin's ex.
In this book we get to know Justin who grew up in a small town and had a terrible reputation. He was accused of cheating on his girlfriend and also cheating on a test. He did neither but no one in the town believed him at all.
Savannah crushed on Justin but then he ended up dating her best friend until he cheated on her and hurt her friend. So, when they end up at the same college, she hates him because of what he did to her friend.
That is until she starts to get to know him and sees that one mistake doesn't define him or anyone. I loved the message of this book of forgiveness and moving on and finding love.
Justin is this absolutely awesome guy. I loved how much he cared about Savannah and how he is always there for her through everything. This was such a romantic and awesome story that I fell very hard for the authors story and characters. I LOVED this book so much!!
