ABOUT THE BOOK
From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new stand-alone enemies-to-lovers grumpy/sunshine sports romance.
A spin-off from the Only One series
Vivienne
I did the last thing I ever expected to do. I bought a boat. A beautiful boat that was all mine to spend the summer on.
Only thing I was looking forward to was the calm being on the water brought me.
A place where I wasn’t a hockey dynasty princess or the only single girl of the family.
What I wasn’t looking forward to was the broody man in the boat next to me.
Xavier
I was at the top of my game two years ago.
Then it all came crashing down.
I hung up my skates and vowed to never play again.
I was good at hockey, but hockey was bad for me.
I planned to spend my life on my boat with my dog.
Alone. Happily alone.
Until she came along.

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A majority of this book takes place in NY and in this story, we get to know Vivienne Grant. She is the daughter of Matthew and Karrie, and her siblings are Franny, Chase and Cooper. She also has a really BIG secret and it's not about the boat she just purchased.
The story opens up where she shares about her new purchase, and we get to see how excited she is about her new toy. Though she knows nothing about boats beyond that she wants one and loves them.
As the boat makes an entrance in her life, she also meets her neighbors, Beatrice and Xavier. Xavier has been living on his boat for two years and he too has a BIG secret. He is very much a loner, and he loves it that way. That is until things change, and Vivienne enters his life and totally shakes it up with her happiness and excitement for the boating way of life.
I love that we get to see so much of the Grant and Stone family in this book. I love how involved they are in Vivienne's life. I also adored their reaction to Vivienne's BIG secret.
This was a really fun story, and I could not put it down. It also deals with some serious subjects that I had never really thought about in relation to the sports and the celebrity lifestyle.
