ABOUT THE BOOK
On the Shore
by Laura Pavlov is now live!
He’s the GOAT of the NFL. She’s
a hot-headed reporter who despises him. They’re in the same small town for the
summer. What could possibly go wrong?
I'm more than aware of the
responsibilities that come with being a quarterback in the NFL.
The upside—I get to do what I
love every day, which is play football.
And I make more money than I
know what to do with.
The downside—everyone wants a
piece of me, and the press stalks me ruthlessly.
And one reporter in particular,
Brinkley Reynolds, has crossed a line.
She takes things too far.
So yeah, I have her escorted
out of the press conference.
Imagine my surprise when the
same woman walks into the coffee shop in the small town where I’ve gone to get
some privacy for the summer.
I accuse her of stalking me.
She calls me every name in the
book before proceeding to make me feel very unwelcome in Cottonwood Cove.
Her hometown.
The place where she tucked tail
and ran after I’d unknowingly gotten her fired.
So now I’m enemy number one.
That’s fine with me.
I’m not the biggest fan of her
either.
She’s equal parts stubborn and
aggravating.
But she happens to be the
sexiest woman I’ve ever laid eyes on.
So I try to make amends.
I’m not the devil after all.
But she won’t give me the time
of day unless I agree to give her my story.
One I’ve fought hard to protect
since the day I started playing professional ball.
I don’t owe Brinkley Reynolds
anything.
So why am I considering giving
her everything?

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a hate to love, work together with a forbidden relationship, sports romance. It stars Brinkley Reynolds who is a sports reporter and her enemy, Lincoln, who is a football player, that everyone pretty much adores.
The hate is pretty mutual on both sides, he hates that she stalked him into a bathroom when he was trying to call his mother. She hates that he got so angry and then had her thrown out of a press conference over it and then she was fired from her job as a reporter.
When Linc tries to get away for some time to think about what his career plans are, he lands up in Cottonwood Cove, the town where Brinkley grew up and where her family lives and where she is hiding while she tries to find another job.
When Linc finds out she was fired, he wants to make up for that and so he offers her an exclusive as they work together on their story. Brinkley can't help but notice how great Linc is, but she also knows that she would hurt her career if the world found out she was in a relationship with her interviewee. So that's the forbidden part of this romance.
This was an absolutely adorable, sexy, hot and fun romance. If you have read the authors other series and books you will probably see some other characters from those books. This book does easily stand alone. But you might fall for some of those characters and want their back stories, so be warned.
I LOVED the text messaging aspect of this story and I loved how Linc and Brinkley spar with each other and have so much fun doing it. This story was pretty lighthearted story, filled with romantic moments, friendship and family.
