“This was an exciting story from the jump with the sassy and witty banter, all the spicy chemistry that led to fiery scenes, and the secrets!! Whoa!” - Jennifer Leigh, Goodreads

ABOUT THE BOOK

Colby McNichols, otherwise known as the baby-faced assassin, is the left wing for the Western Wildcats hockey team. All he has to do is sign his name on the dotted line and he’ll play for the pros after his senior season. What I’ve heard from the girls on campus, who aren’t shy about spilling the tea, is that he’s totally earned his reputation.

And then some.

It’s just one of the reasons I choose to steer clear.

Trust me when I say that my life is complicated enough without getting tangled up with a player.

For reasons I can’t fathom, Colby has decided to insert himself in my life. Everywhere I go, there he is. Which makes holding him at a distance nearly impossible. He might be smoking hot but there’s zero point in starting something with this guy. Especially since I can’t be honest about who I am.

Unfortunately, a weekend spent in Vegas changes everything.

Turns out that our friends weren’t the only ones who tied the knot in Sin City.

I can only hope that what they say is true—what happens in Vegas stays there.

Because if it doesn’t…

I’m screwed.

And not in a good way.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Britt older student and is friends with Fallyn and all her friends. She is also Sully's niece. He owns the local bar.  She met Colby at the end of the last book, Never Mine to Hold and was clearly not interested. Colby is the son of Gray McNichols.

I am a huge fan of this author and I have loved all her college series books. This is 4th in the series and I was really looking forward to it. But in all honesty I felt something was missing. I liked both main characters and I liked the storyline, but I just didn't really see their connection maybe or maybe there was not enough flirtiness to warrant me seeing them fall for each other. I enjoyed the story but I didn't feel that I fell in love with the couple and I have with all the previous couples.

Colby is the son of Gray McNichols who I LOVED in his book. He is hot, fun and very flirty. He wants love eventually and meanwhile enjoys one nighters, is afraid of flying and is a huge hockey star at his college. When he sees Britt he is attracted instantly but she can't escape him fast  enough.

They do share a friend group so they end up going to Vegas together and thats how they end up married... Britt likes Colby but she is hiding from America and so she never shares her secrets with anyone. She tries to stay away from him but he keeps trying to pull her close.

When her secrets are exposed, how will her friends feel? How will Colby react? Will she run or stay and fight for the life she wants?

I really liked Colby in this book. I wasn't sure why he falls for Britt. She is extremely closed off in every single way. I did not really understand why she didn't tell her friends her secrets. I doubt they would have told anyone.

Colby's fear of flying was so weird. This guy plans to go to the NHL. So doesn't he have to fly to games all the time. I just felt this was a plot device than reality because NHL player means lots of plane rides.

If you like a hot hockey player finding love with a girl in a Vegas wedding then this was a pretty good story. These two share a fear of the limelight and people using them but also very much opposites attracting. I loved their friends and I love that we get some Gray time.
