I have not read this author in many, many years, but this book looked really fun, so I am so happy I got to read the early release arc of it. It is very much a tutor falling for her tutoree. It's also about the science nerd and the jock and very much opposites attract storyline. 

If you are looking for a fake relationship/dating, then look elsewhere because these two are the real deal from day 1. They see someone really special in each other and they choose to explore that but it's not for any other than they like each other. Now there are by products of the dating like jealousy from their exes but it's not fake dating. 

This is also a very centered on football sports romance. We do see quite a few football games throughout the book. In addition our science nerd, Rachel LOVES football as her family is definitely a football family. 

Logan and Rachel met each other at the first day of college but don't get to know each other until Logan requests her as a tutor. She has just broken up/been cheated on by her ex and her ex-bestie and roomie, so she is a bit down on men. I loved that Logan tries to reassure her that he is nothing like that ex and he really isn't. Logan despite playing football is a really good guy (with bad taste in exes and bad grades in science), I loved that he does not do the whole on nightstand thing and he wants a solid relationship.

Rachel is this absolutely awesome character. She was done wrong by her ex-bestie ad roomie, and it blows her trust, but I liked how open her heart is and that she is willing to open her heart to Logan. I also love her morals and how she refuses to use Logan. She is a really above-board character and I loved that about her. She is honest and true and when times she could have made the wrong choice, her natural honesty was so awesome. 

This was a total light read which made it such a fun book. It's the perfect summer pool read that will make you laugh, smile and sigh because Logan is that hot!!
