This was such a great book and I really loved it. It takes place at college, senior year and Van is a star hockey player. But he also has a learning disability and so his grades are really bad. He needs help and he ends up matched with his ex girlfriend, Josie.

Josie is in her senior year and cannot wait to graduate. If everything goes as planned she has a job waiting in her small town. So when a class she needs to graduate is cut she ends up as a tutor and her ex boyfriend is her tutoree. 

This book was so not what I expected in so many ways. First Van is a really awesome guy with a great mom, a crappy dad and a bad learning disability. He loved Josie a lot when they met but she had a lot of secrets from him and she couldn't let him in. 

Josie fell hard for Van but she really was not ready for love. Her parents both had just died and her and her older brother and her siblings guardians and take care of them. From rides to meeting with teachers. She had a lot of responsibility and pain and was just trying to survive each day.

When Van and Josie start spending time together again, they get their second chance.... Will the past stand in their way or can they open their hearts to each other? Well, you will have to read this awesome book. I really loved it so much.
