This is a standalone summer romance/sports romance from the POV of Peyton entirely. She is a college student on her summer break, and she has some big issues related to her family and especially her father. He is a cheater, and she feels that her and her mother deserve better than that. She tends to get panic attacks and she is back at the summer home, and he is staying there too and so let's say it's very complicated.

On top of that there is a baseball player named Crew who is staying there and was given her room. So these two start off as adversaries as they both want to stay in her room. They were both cute in their one upmanship and as they start getting to know each other and caring I really enjoyed watching them fall in love. 

And then there is a plot TWIST. Its big and ugly I kind of hated it. But in all honesty, I saw it coming a mile away. But I was also glad the author did not drag it out. I really didn't think it was needed, but it did make some big drama into this story.
