ABOUT THE BOOK

A brand new enemies to lovers age gap steamy standalone romance.

A grumpy, reclusive New York billionaire meets his match in the maid who makes his bed (in more ways than one).

When an older guy with a dirty grin and an expensive suit flirts with me from the next barstool, I don’t realize I’m about to have a one-night stand with the man I desperately want to work for.

After a night that leaves my world (and body) shaken, I start my summer job housekeeping in a five-star hotel even though I’m determined to kickstart my career in tech. As I dust and polish the Park Suite, in walks Mr. Dirty Grin—now with an icy glare.

Why is the man from last night who was so charming (and good with his tongue) so furious this morning? As I piece together the puzzle, I discover the guest in the Park Suite is none other than Ben Fort, the reclusive tech mogul I want to work for.

Ben has kept his identity hidden for years and he wants to know how I figured him out overnight. As he questions me, I don’t waste time telling him he’s a (super-hot) grump who needs to lighten up—and give me a job.

I don’t want to sleep my way to the top, and he doesn’t trust me. But neither of us can resist the sizzling sparks that fly every time I fluff his pillows.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the start of a new series and it takes place in NYC. Eddie whose real name is Efa is related to the authors previous series and is in NYC for the summer but lives in England. She is a new college graduate and is working as a maid but also dreams of getting a tech job with the mysterious Ben Fort. But no one knows who he is.

Instead of discussing the plot because it would include many spoilers. Let's say the road to Efa's dream job has many obstacles in her way. And there is also a side plot about who is trying to hack into Bennett's company. Can Efa help? Well you have to read the book to get all the details.

This book had lots of sex scenes, and they are very graphic and long. While I love sex scenes, I honestly felt they lasted too long. I wanted to get to the action and the sex scenes after a point got in the way of me learning more about what I wanted more info on.

This story does have a break between Efa and Bennett. Honestly it was silly and I felt it was out of character for Ben to jump to such a conclusion. And I really wanted Efa to make him do more to earn her forgiveness. Aside from that I loved Efa and she was such an interesting character that I could not stop reading this book.

Bennett was a really strange man. He was hot and sexy, and a billionaire and he was much older than Efa (yes, it's a nice age gap.) But he is also very secretive and mysterious, and I agreed 100 percent with Efa. Sometimes we have to grow up and face who we are and our past and move beyond it. I loved that Efa helped Bennett in this story to grow up a bit and move past his past.
