Light ’em Up - Bang Brothers #5 - by Kelly Jamieson (Annie Bang and Logan)

Light 'Em Up by Kelly Jamieson is now available!

I don’t need some tiny figure skater telling me what to do. I know how to skate. I wouldn’t be in the NHL if I didn’t.

Although, I am a fourth liner. I do want more ice time. I want to make a difference on the team. But learning how to figure skate isn’t it. Especially from Annie Bang, who hates my guts. Speaking of guts…she has ’em.

She’s a pint-sized badass. And that’s sexy as hell. When I’m around her, my skate blade’s not the only thing made of steel.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Annie Bang

I’m thrilled to be working in professional hockey, since my five brothers are all hockey players. My new role as skating coach to the New York Bears is the perfect fit and I can’t wait to whip all these guys into shape so we can win more games. Except one of the guys is Logan Coates—the guy who sent my brother to the hospital in a memorable game three seasons ago. I want nothing to do with him.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is standalone book in the Bang Brothers series. It stars Annie Bang who is a former ice skater, and she has been hired as a skating coach for the Bears Hockey team. Her nemesis is Logan, and he is a player on the team.

Why does she hate him? Well because he played against her brother and injured him. The world believes it was a dirty hit and ever since then her family hates him. When she joins the team it's very hard for Logan to avoid her.

The two form a friendship of sorts and have shall we say chemistry together but its a very much hidden and forbidden relationship. Not only hidden from the team as she is a coach on the team but also against her family who all hate Logan because of her brother.

One stand out character is Ivan. I absolutely adore him. Maybe he can be an honorary Bang Brother.

This was a good story, and it was fun to see how the Bear Hockey characters are doing from the authors previous series.
