Being the star player on the Walker Wolves has been everything I was working towards.
That is, until my grades slip, threatening to take it all from me.
I have to do something drastic to keep my dreams alive, so I hire a tutor.
That’s when I met her.
Grace Myers.
She is the complete opposite of me. Shy, innocent, kind.
She’s meant to tutor me on school, so why does it feel like she is schooling me on life?

Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.
I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an awesome story. Its primarily about a freshman college student named Grace. She has had a best friend her entire life who wanted her around to be his bestie but also knew she was crushing on him and told her he didn't want that with her. So, as he grew up and went through women like Kleenex, he never freed her. Until college when she starts to make friends and that's when he decides he is ready for more.
But he never counted on Junior, Clayton James. Who sees Grace and what a treasure she is and he starts to treat her like she always was supposed to be treated. He shares his friends, becomes her bestie and opens up her eyes and heart to life and new experiences.
This really is an awesome story. Its about growing up, letting go and growing and changing and letting life happen, not hiding from life and not clinging to something that doesn't work because its a bad habit. Its about finding your person and getting rid of the toxic in your life. Its about seeing who you are and loving yourself.
It really is a great story. I loved every second of it. I loved both Grace and Clayton, they are such terrific people and characters.
