This is the story about Charlie/Charles and his assistant, Daisy, and their work relationship and well let's just say that it gets very complicated very fast with lots of twists and turns along the way.
There are a couple serious issues that you will read about in this book. Daisy's father has Alzheimer's and Charles suffers from social anxiety and OCD.
It's a business type of marriage for both of them. They still work together and are friends, but things become more as they are married and share many adventures as they get to know each other. Its also a bit of a slow burn story as well.
Charles and Daisy have some feelings that are very similiar. He abandoned by his own mother, and Daisy's mother is dead and she is losing her father. But one runs from love and commitment and the other embraces it.
It was an interesting story. I adored Daisy and loved her personality. Charles was a harder character to love because he is so closed off from everything and everyone. I really adored how he starts to open up to her as they get deeper into marriage.
