This is book 2 in the series about two best friends. I never read the first book, but this story sounded intriguing and so I could not wait to read it. Its a baby mama between close friends, Nathan and Kiersten after a one night stand. Nathan and K have been good friends for years. He is a widow who lost the love of his life to cancer several years before. But he has tried to move on but when K eventually tells him she is pregnant from a night of sex they had, well it changes his life. At times I HATED Nathan. He says and does some extremely hurtful things and I am not sure I could have ever come back from that. But for me this book was wonderful because of K. She is a strong woman and she takes no prisoners. This is not a light reading book. Nathan' love for his ex was not something I loved about this story. But I loved how K changes as she faces motherhood while it freaks her out. She forgives Nathan for some of the absolutely awful things he says to her. This is a story very much so about moving on and second chances and finding love.
