This is a relatively new author for me, and I really enjoyed this book and the plot and characters. It easily standalone though it's also part of a series. It also is a more mature book as the main characters are 39 and 42. 

This story takes place in a hospital and features two doctors who work together but who kind of don't like each other much. The problem is they don't just work together but they also live in the same apartment complex and even share friends. Though Sara is on the anti-social side.

Stremmel is the male lead in this story, and he has friends, seniority and has a big, bad attitude. He is a bit on the grumpy side at work. Sara is a plastic surgeon with shall we say attitude and she does not like Stremmel. She thinks he is the Worst Guy, hence the title of the story. 

After an altercation at work, they both get sentences to 8 weeks of anger management and that's when the fun really starts with this book. I was highly entertained with these two who both have real issues which make them the way they are. 

This was a lively story and I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the homework assignments and watching these two get to know each other and fall for each other. 

I did feel that Stremmel fell for Sarah a bit fast but I felt her reaction took a bit more time than I enjoyed and at times it annoyed me how she treated him for that small stretch. But when she came around, I liked how she explained her behavior.

 This is the last book in the series and I have really enjoyed it. Each book easily stands alone and features a different couple. This is a rock and roll romance with a second chance at love.

FORD 

This is Ford's story and it was one of my favorites in the series. If you have been reading this series, Ford is the last single guy standing. He also has been fake engaged to Aspen, a youtuber and actress/model for the last six months. She is a Lesbian and has been pretending to date Ford to help her reputation and he really needed the money, so she has been paying him to help her. 

MY FEELINGS ABOUT ASPEN IN THIS BOOK

In the last book she seemed  nice but I really hated her relationship with Ford. I am not a fan of threesomes and her and Ford had those in previous books while they were pretending to date. In this book they never have sex. But the world still believes they are dating. So while Ford never cheats, the world still thinks they are together. For most of the book Aspen is not around at all. But in the last part of the book she has a small part and it was the part of the book I least enjoyed. 

SYDNEY

Sydney is the daughter of a rocker and his wife who went missing a year ago and were thought to be dead but no bodies were found.  They left behind three kids, one a teenager, a 7 year old and a toddler who is 18 months. Sydney became an insta mom to all three. She works two jobs to support her family and one night she goes out to celebrate her birthday and thats when she runs into Ford who is in town.

Lets say these two have old business. When Ford chases Syd she says something to him that opens many questions and he can't let it go so he forces a confrontation. 

Thats when all her and his secrets come out and they have to try and find out who they each are some seven years later. It was a really awesome end to this series and I hope Syd's sister Kristin gets a story and Kingston too. I loved who Ford becomes in this story and we get to see him grow up a lot in this book and this series. It was an awesome finish to this wonderful series and I cannot wait to see what new rockers the author writes about next.

This is the first time I have read this author EVER. It is also book 5 in a series of 6 books. The author starts the book off with a note saying that you should read the whole series from book 1 to get the full experience of this series but also that this book can stand alone. Being as I am a rookie of this author and I have not read the previous books, this book easily stands alone. I was never lost or felt I needed to go back and read a previous book.

This series is about three triplet brothers who live in a small town of Cypress Pointe. They are West, Sterling and Dane. From what I gather West and Blue's story is in the first three books, Joss and Dane's story is also a standalone and is book 4 in the series, and this book 5 is about the last triplet Sterling and it puts him together with Lexi.

Their father is Vin and he is in jail and on trial in this story. I am not sure what he did but he is very corrupt, and his sons are the ones who put him in jail, so they testify at the trial in this book.

There is one other element to this story and thats social media poster Pandora, who seems to be the eyes of this small town. She posts everything about the triplets and their lives as it happens, and no one has any idea who she is.

This story is very much about family, the ones we are born to, the mixed families with step kids, and the family that forms from friendship, and then there is the fractured families.

The first 4 chapters in the book are from when Sterling and Lexi are 15 years old and its why Lexi HATES Sterling as the book begins. The book then starts 4 years later when Lexi and S are 19. Sterling is in college and is a football player. He is hot and beloved by the town. Lexi on the other hand is TROUBLE and is a college dropout who just lost her last job.

Sterling has some big troubles and even though Lexi hates him, she helps him out a very tough situation and so starts the fun with these two. This story was absolutely awesome and honestly, I could not put it down. I adored how these two have a very difficult relationship, and no matter what they are there for each other throughout this book. 

Its not really a light read but it was a really fun story with many twists and turns and it's a very intense and drama filled story and I absolutely loved every second of it.

 This is Carson and Elle's story and it was awesome. It has a lot of angst and unrequited feelings and is a brothers best friend romance.

Elle is a Sophomore at university. Her brother is Brandon and Carson is her brothers best friend and they grew up together. Brandon and Elle's father died four years before and so both Carson and Brandon have been chasing all the boys away. Elle didn't mind because she crushed on Carson. Now that she is in college she wants something with Carson. Carson wants her back but he feels its not the time and he needs to protect her. 

This was a fun story. It was fun watching Carson being very alpha and possessive while also trying to protect Elle. Elle was such a strong character and I loved how she wants what she wants and when Carson denies her she decides to move on, and it drives him insane. This is my favorite trope when the guy goes a bit crazy.

 This was an absolutely awesome story and I loved every second of it. It stars Kelsey, who in a previous book we met as Chance's step sister. She had an awful ex and she tried to commit suicide in Chance's book Miss Trust.  

Now she is all better and has dumped her ex and she has a new job working for  Dominic's father as accounting investigator in San Diego. But her real investigation is very hush hush so Nic has no clue and she is not allowed to tell him the truth.

Nic and Kelsey become friends and fall for each other but they have a massive secret between them, one that can destroy his entire family. 

Nic is a COO for his company but he is a free spirit and has agreed to work at the company for one year to see if its a good fit for him. So he ends up as a boss/co-worker in a way to Kelsey so they both decide to keep their feelings and relationship on the down low side.

In this story we see Kelsey's evil mother and her evil ex, but we also see Kelsey be strong and I adored seeing the changes that Kelsey has grown since Miss Trust. 

Nic is a huge flirt and falls really hard for Kels and while she is so not his type he really sees beyond all the material things into her heart and who she is as he falls for her.  Kelsey tries really hard to resist flirty Nic and I loved how she makes him chase her and tries hard to resist him. 

This was so well written and I absolutely adored every moment of the story. I loved Nic's mom and Nic himself was such an awesome character. In this story we also meet Nic's brothers (he has two of them) and I fell hard for them. I hope they get stories too in this series.

 This was a really fun novella especially for the holidays and I really loved it so much. Its filled with hot times, romance, matchmaking coworkers and lots of heart and love. 

Lily works in Dec's department for another worker as his PA. And Dec has had a thing for her for several years. Until one office party where her boss decides to play New Year Matchmaker and thats when the fun and romance starts.

This was a very romantic, hot and sweet romance with lots of romance and low drama. Its a feel good holiday romance and I loved it.

This is Fisher's story and he is the leading man and he gets the surprise of his life when he goes to the hospital one night to see his niece and brother Jed and his wife Molly. 

This is Fisher and Allie's story and its a wonderful second chance for both characters. The seniors in town are up to mischief as they try and get Fisher and Allie together and lets say they both are a huge challenge. 

Both Allie and especially Fisher have a lot of growing up to do in this story to really be ready for each other. They both have to start trusting each other and really letting each other in and face the future they want. This was a very hot, fun and romantic story and I even cried a few tears near the end.
